Great system for kids of all ages
I ordered my RG35XX over a week ago and received it last week. I had been watching videos and reading reviews and felt like it would be perfect for me. I grew up on NES, Game Boy, and SNES, and really only needed something that could do those consoles, but liked to have flexibility to go up to other systems like Dreamcast and Playstation. Initial reviews of the RG35XX were mixed; the stock firmware was choppy and had several QoL features missing (suspend/resume and a robust configuration option). I ordered when I saw that a new firmware, GarlicOS, was released and was having lots of positive reviews. I played the RG35XX for a couple of hours on stock firmware but decided I would really just want to get GarlicOS running.I'm glad I did! Garlic works great on the system and it's really easy to navigate and use. The form factor of the device is just perfect for me. I got the one stylized like the original Game Boy and it feels really great, very close to the original. It's smaller in the hands with a bigger screen, but it's not TOO small like the Miyoo Mini (in my opinion) nor too bulky. It's portable enough to take with you in a case, throw it in a bag, etc., and the battery life is decent. Because it has trigger buttons, it can play the newer generation games, but I've been having too much fun playing NES and Game Boy games to need them. But they are very comfortable to use.I strongly recommend this to anyone looking to see what all the fuss is about for retro handhelds. This has an easy entry into the market, isn't terribly expensive, but has good build quality and style, and enough performance to play anything a child of the 80s and 90s would want.

A fantastic little device, but requires tinkering to take full advantage of it
I was in the fence on whether buy this device (in reality the miyoo mini+, but that is not going to happen) or go for something like the retroid pocket 3+. I bought it here as the price plus delivery from china made no much difference vs thr Amazon tax (I have a $10 gift card, which helps on that front) For me, this devise is great for my use case. It goes up to ps1, which is sufficient as I have a 3ds (only missing n64). The size is great, comfortable, battery life is decent (at least in garlic), and doesn't feel too cheap. The stock stock SD include plenty of games and for the 5 minutes I spend on it I can say is a ready to use device. However, I cannot give an informed opinion as I discarded that SD card and installed Garlic OS and loaded a collection scrapped for Onion (easy to fine in archive org), which honestly is a better experience than stock. This bring the mayor paint point of this device: you will need to thinker with it to really get the best of it. There are no "air updates" as there is no Wi-Fi chip available, therefore, you are on you own updating and maintaining the device. Fortunately, there are plenty of good guides around, and this process is not that painful. But you definitely need some basic skill, which this hobby requires regardless. For me the only thing I miss is Bluetooth, which would open the door to use wireless controllers and do some playing in the TV.I definitely recommend it as a portable emulator, but I would not recommend it to a total beginner as you will need some work to really take full advantage of it

Muy bien.
Me gusto mucho. Es justo lo que esperaba. Solo que no me trabajo ningún juego de Mario Bross, y si esperaba algunos. Pero bueno, en general si es bueno.
