The XRT Weighted Vest by We R Sports can really help make your workouts extremely intense, the extra weight will help to shred fat away whilst toning up muscles in synchrony. It's ideal for use whilst running or walking or training to really get the benefits, weights can be added or removed from their selected sleeves to reduce the weight until your fitness levels increase and you can add more weight until you reach the 10kg limit or the 15 or 20kg depending on which you Buy. One size fits all Ultra soft padding Will not absorb sweat This can be used with any Exercise. Benefits By forcing your body to move explosively at a higher weight than it has been accustomed to (i.e. by adding a weighted vest to artificially simulate an increase in your bodyweight), you will find that your strength, power, and quickness will all improve quite rapidly. The reason for this is that your central nervous system (CNS) and muscles start to believe that you have gained extra weight, and will start adapting accordingly. When the weight vest is removed, your body will react as if the weight is still there. The result is faster gains and higher jumps

Very effective but cuts into shoulders after prolonged use (100min walk per day)
I bought the 30kg version of this vest and it's been instrumental in me losing 40kg of weight through improved diet and walking as my only regular exercise. As I've lost weight, I've gradually added more weight to the vest to compensate.I haven't had any problems so far with build quality, all the stitching still seems ok after a lot of regular (but light) use, and, although one or two of the beanbag weights have come loose on the odd occasion, it doesn't happen very often, but this could just be down to the fact that I'm only using the vest when walking upright. The one serious problem I'd raise is with the very poor design of the shoulder padding. The weight between the front and back is supported by two thick nylon straps, one running over each shoulder, but these strap runs along the *inside* of the vest, facing the wearer's body. There is a small padded shoulder area on the inside of the vest and the nylon straps run behind these interior shoulder pads in an attempt to protect the wearer from abrasions but this design is not effective. It's now at the point that after a few days walking with 25kg of weight my shoulders are red raw in places and can take days to recover to the point where I can use the vest again. I've tried duct-taping bubblewrap over the offending areas and that has helped a little but, short of reducing the weight, which defeats the purpose of the vest, I'm going to have to modify the vest to make it wearable with anything approaching its claimed 30kg capacity. This didn't happen initially but it's gradually got worse over time as my upper body has thinned, especially around the neck and shoulders, and it is simply poor design to place the main support straps on the *inside* of the vest rather than over the outside where they would have been separated from the wearer's skin by the rest of the vest material.I walk the same route each day and would wear this vest every time if it weren't for the combination of poor design and inadequate shoulder padding.

No good for heavy chins / dips
I bought the 30kg version to do weighted chins, dips, pistol squats etc...The problem is that the removable sand bags inside remove themselves far too easy. It's impossible to lift the vest over your head, even with help, and then perform a set of anything, without half a dozen or more falling out. It's frustrating to the point that mine now sits on the garage floor never to be used. I'd have sent it back but it the cost was £20 from the cheapest courier! There are better vests out there or stick with a weighted belt if you want a lot of extra weight

A good product to start your training - 15Kgr
No damage and product arrived on time. For potential buyers:Product weight: 15kgrA little about me:Age: 35Height: 185cmWeight: 92KgrSports I do (major work for lower body).1. Basketball ( Jumping, sprints, side movements - require to be as low as you can).2. Volleyball ( Jumping, low positioning and a little bit of running - chasing balls :).3. Running (Jogging 5k or 10k and some sprints).Playing Basketball and Volleyball since I was a kid in Greece. I still play Basketball for my local town and Volleyball in the London League. The reason I bought the Weight vest is to add extra weight to my training and improve jumping. As I mentioned above mostly I bought it to improve my jumping and my stamina for the games as both sports require intensive jumping and running (especially in basketball). When I play Volleyball I wear a T-shirt on top as I need to dive for the ball.I have the product for a week now and used it on both sports. I started with 5Kgr as I didn't want to damage my knees from the beginning.Sandbags are very secure and I have not experienced any issue. The velcro holds the vest very secure around you. The weight between the front and back is supported by two thick nylon straps, one running over each shoulder, but these strap runs along the *inside* of the vest, facing the wearer's body. There is a small padded shoulder area on the inside of the vest and the nylon straps run behind these interior shoulder pads in an attempt to protect the wearer from abrasions but this design is not effective.Overall it is a very good product.

Sleek and comfortable USP but impractical for heavier robust sessions.
I wasn't so impressed with this product. I bought the 20kg version and the kind of exercises i do are circuits like the Murph, but also for sprints and burpees and stuff. Comfort wise it's amazing. It's snug, very well balanced and easy to put on. But it's not robust at all. Comfort outweighs durability. One of my velcro straps is hanging on for dear life, and the shoulder supports are frayed and almost coming apart. As one reviewer says the weights come out too easily. It's a hassle to wash (taking weights out and putting them back) and now the velcro is also not sticking. Ive had the product about 6 months and Ive used it properly around 15 times. So if you're looking for something light, comfortable, and sleek this is brilliant. But for impact training like running, jumping, burpees, stair climbs etc then its just going to cost you money for a short amount of use. A shame really.

Woah...
I'll start of by saying this, if you're buying one of these and aren't used to weightlifting or haven't used one before, make sure you start on a low weight. I tried and it was very tough. But once you get used to it, it works really well, and then after a while, running without it on makes you feel like your flying. Would recommend.

Great for Body Weight Exercises
This has really added something to any body weight routing I do - and addd an extra challenge to any HiTT workout. It's ok for running but better for short shuttle runs as it does move about a bit - you can tighten to minimise movement but heavy breathing becomes restricted - also I'm not convinced the stitches will hold up against the jolting moviments of running overtime. It is, however, perfect for squat, platform jumps, pull up etc .
