Bloch 301 Jazz Tap Shoe

We are vary happy with my grandaughters new tap shoes. She is a size 6, but we ordered a 6.5 they fit perfect as she has a wide fitting. Would advice any one with a child that has a wide fitting to order a size a bit bigger, at least half a size. She loves these shoe and the sound they make.

Good taps however when you are used to Tap shoes lasting until your feet grow out of them then you’ll be disappointed. The ball tap has come detached, ripping the sole of the shoe. Tried to get them mended but it can be done sadly. My daughter wore them once a week for 4 months. Her last pair lasted her 2 years.

We normally get the 301 bloch jazz shoes for my daughter, but lockdown left us a bit short of money, so we thought we would try these economy version... My advice is don't bother, the fit is totally different t to the standard shoe, they don't feel anywhere near as good, and the taps just aren't as good either! We sent these back and got the standard tap shoe instead, as they are totally worth the extra money

Im using them to do tap fit. Wee bit slippy, but new, so expected that. Was surprised how flexible and comfortable considering you would wear trainers with fitbeats (i didnt find the fitbeats comfortable). Love the sound these make tap wise (better than my last tap shoes). Would recommend. I also have wide feet, so again, happy to find these confirtable. I went for the half size just to make sure and its perfect.

Was worried about whether they would be a good fit, and comfortable to dance in. I'm pleased to say, they are an excellent fit, and very comfortable.

Great beginners tap shoe but not the standard I've come to expect from Bloch. Toe plate came off within 3 months of dancing. No screws for toe plates so had to glue on with no more nails. Heel plates are constantly wobbly and after a year of tapping once a week they have split at the ball.
