1/8" Solid Carbide Jobber Drill Bits with Straight Shank and 118° Point Angle, Made from Tungsten Carbide Material,2-Pieces

Had to drill through some hardened steel and it was destroying my regular drill bits... bought these and they worked very well... since we have many of the same machines that will experience the same failures, it's nice to have these in my arsenal to attack the problem in a timely fashion!

The bit wasd purchased to drill holes with my CNC router. The but fit the Colette perfectly and create clean holes. Getting the plunge rate and spindle speed is important to reduce heating but once dialed in that was resolved. I would buy this bit again and would recommend it for CNC.

I am making a knife and these drilled thru a hardened N690 steel with a HRC number 59-60. That is some hard steel. These drill bits lasted for about 2 holes and was done. I figured they wouldn't last long but they did drill the holes. I used a cutting oil.Titanium bits didn't make a scratch on the steel and they actually shattered in the drill press.USE THESE for your hardened steel. Use cutting oil too.

Bought this to drill through 1095 "annealed" 1/8" hot rolled bar stock, worked like a charm, as long as the speed is slow it cuts like butterGreat quality

I bought three drill bits and the first one snapped in half and the second one the very Cutting Edge tip snapped off. I drilled two holes in a piece of 3/16 angle iron it was standard angle iron not tempered.

Works great, made short work of cold forged steel.
