These help our cat's a lot.
I knew our older cat from birth (it was a mates cat who was the mother), and shortly after 8 weeks she was homed, very smart appearance so we were happy for her to go with him, then 1 week later he brought her back, saying they don't know how to look after her, and she was not the same cat we knew, and although I said we would never have a pet again after our dog's passed, I was not going to risk her having to go to anyone else, because when I slept over there many times while helping them decorate (the place was a mess and they didn't know how to do numerous things), and she always slept with me, and one night her mother came to sleep with me as well, and she chased her away lol.Anyway 7 years on, and what ever happened has left a life long fear, she is terrified when the hoover goes on, when the door goes, when she hears other voices, when people come in, if you look out of the window too much, and even if you get up too fast, she flies up the stairs and under the wardrobe like an Exocet missile, that is how scared she is, so you get an idea of how badly affected she is from that week elsewhere, so you can get an idea of how hard it is keeping her safe and happy. Then we thought that getting her a playmate would help her, so when she was approaching her 1st birthday we got her an 8 week old playmate, initially she was fairly close with her and we thought it would develop and help her be more confident, unfortunately she didn't turn out to be a cat, she was a Ninja in disguise lol 🐱👤She does not approach things in a simple way, and when she is in minx mode everything is a target, and she does not understand how to play nicely, instead she goes in for the kill, as nature has implanted on her (I have the scars to prove it lol), so when they play it often ends up in tears, so we are giving these to her as well, in the hope of making her play a bit more casually, instead of going in for the kill, but she is also affected by the work next door, because when they took a wall out she was as scared as our older cat.Now to these pills, we had cause to ask for help with her stress levels a year ago when the council sent out roofers to swap the old cast iron gutters, to modern plastic ones, so they were up and down with ladders and towers, and these eased her a bit, roll onto today, next door are having extensive building work going on for the next 6 months, with a roof conversion, and a substantial rear extension, involving the sewer line as well, so we have quite the journey ahead of us.Last time I bought these I only got 10 as it was a short period, so getting a big pack like this was a no brainer, and even after a few days, they are already making a difference to her, but the jury is out on the Ninja lol, today they are ripping into the roof structure, so lots of sawing, hammering and banging etc, I attached 2 pictures, one is when I asked her if she was OK, and she reached out to shake 'paws' lol, the other is with loud hammering and cutting going on, she is still on high alert, but as I said it's only been a few days so far, but before getting the pills, what was going on when I took the picture with her laying there, she would of been upstairs and under the wardrobe before the 3rd bang.So this alone is a major breakthrough with her, so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this if you have a similar situation, BUT, Always read the label, and don't use them for long periods without a vet's backing, ours is a rare(ish) situation as laid out above, but I will be watching her each day and if I see she is becoming more relaxed with all the noise, I will start cutting back from 1 a day, to every other day and so on, and reverse it if she shows signs of stress again. But make sure you know your pets weight, if you have scales, weigh yourself, then pick your pet up and weigh yourself again holding your pet, and the excess holding your pet is what they weigh, no scales, then approximate using bags of sugar as they are set weights of KG, so figure out how many bags of sugar you would need to hold, based on what your pet feels like when holding, then just add up the totals on the bag(s) and you have a reasonable estimate of your pets weight, this is important because they have more than one strength of these, so the 75mg here are for smaller pets, if in doubt see a vet, hope this helps.

Effective, natural solution for stressed out pets
My vet recommended this for one of my cats who suffers from Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disorder which is sometimes triggered by stress (although quite what a spoiled house cat has to be stressed about is beyond me).I have also used it for separation anxiety (e.g. when I go away on holiday and they are looked after by a cat sitter) and it DOES make a difference. The cat sitter was convinced I only had one had one cat as she had never seen the shy one - until we started sprinkling Zylkene on the wet food when suddenly, shy cat appeared as if my magic. It seems quite palatable - mine will eat the capsule contents out of my hand - and it is a "nutriceutical" - made from naturally occurring substances found in food (casein) and not a drug, so I feel comfortable giving it to my cats.If you have a shy, stressed out cat, give it a try. I also give it to mine in the run up to and around fireworks season as they are both frightened by the booms and bangs. It definitely helps them cope.

Just what was needed
Having a multi cat houshold a new female stray was introduced to the clan, one of my females who is the boss of the girls took it upon herself to show her distaste in a new female being brought into the house. She started to uriniate in large pools around the house, having never been dirty before in the nine years we have had her. At first I thought she was ill and she had a visit to the vets and blood tests done, it transpired she was stressed and was showing her dislike to the new female by urinating everywhere. Some of the boys decided to join in by marking their teritory.Having nearly pulled all my hair out a decision had to be made regarding the new girl. She had already suffered a terrible life and was wanting to be friends with all the cats.Having tried various types of plug in calmers and cleaning urine up with recomended soulutions we were at our wits end. Our vet recomended we try Zylkene and we have never looked back.Every day I open a capsule and place them in the cats food. The boss girl only eats dry food, but will happily take the capsule split open in water or dirctly to her mouth.Zylkene is non-addictive and does not drug the cats only makes them calmer it contains milk protein so I understand. It can be used short or long term. I have been using it for several weeks now and the urinating has stopped.

Great product at great price
One middle aged bitch in my border terrier pack often suffered from "anxiety". The least thing could put her off her food and she would often seem withdrawn and miserable. Long car journeys were particularly stressful for her. The Vet suggested these a couple of years ago and they have made a huge difference. She has one a day (half the suggested dose) and now never suffers from anxiety, nothing puts her off her food, she is laid-back and enjoys everything - even jumping in the car as soon as the door is opened. I would heartily recommend anyone trying these for an anxious or stressed dog.
