Decent product, Liteweight, Great value!
So just writing this review for those of you like me that are looking for a liteweight utility tool to take on the trail, go camping with, etc. For over a year I had flirted with the idea of buying a different brand (rhymes with Weatherman) because they offer a liteweight multi tool that comes in at around 5 ounces. I specifically like it because it has a carabiner attachment made into the design. But at a price point of $74.95 for most of the past year (2019/2020) I could not bring myself to spend the money, knowing that it could be lost on the trail. The price came down to $54.95 on Amazon, and I almost went for it, but decided to hold off. I had bought another multitool on Amazon (weighed in at 8 oz. so not horribly different from the "weatherman Hellatool", but it was only around $12 prime so that made the 3 oz difference ok. I went to the mountain outfitter that I generally like to buy local from and they had the True Utility Seven on the counter for $14.99 plus tax. I picked it up, felt great, its small, but not too small, and they were kind enough to weigh it for me. Weighs in at 3.5 ounces, (even verified on my mail/hiking gear scale at home). So all that to say this: The True Utility Seven is to me the best bang for the buck liteweight multi tool I've found yet. Knife is sharp, Philips Screwdriver "teeth" are a bit more defined than most, making it a usable tool, especially for hikers trying to save every ounce they can. Decent product, liteweight, great value.

It's good as a keychain and a small knife. Pliers are not strong enough.
The pliers broke within a single use. Loved the small form factor and the utility, but cannot give 5 stars if I can't utilize the pliers effectively.

No me llegó este modelo sino otro de la misma marca pero de peor calidad, no lo devolví porque me hacía falta pero jamás repetiré ni recomiendo esta compra.

Very handy, always on my belt loop.
Don't be put off but people posting pictures of broken pliers, just don't use it to change a flat tyre. This is my second True Utility EDC, the first one (on the right) has seen better days but it still works. I never leave home without it clipped on my belt loop. Yes, there are better quality multi tools out there, but for the money this just works. I do have a Leatherman Skeletool and it is a thing of beauty, but I just don't want to mark it. Whereas I'm not bothered about this one.It also has to be said, my delivery driver came back 3 hours later to deliver it, as I wasn't home the first time. I'll be giving him, or her a Christmas tip!
