Q: Is the tray was to raise and lower? My mother-in-law is 95 and not very strong and gets easily confused. It would have to be easy to use.

This product is simple to use. Flips up & down easily. When using in the up carrying position you need to make sure that it is flat. Not hard to do. I also have my mother use a piece of that rubbery shelf liner ( dollar store stuff) on the tray when moving plates ect. This product should really help your mother-in-law. My mother is 88 and uses her walker at all times. Along with this she also has a snap on cloth type pouch on the walker. Great for phone, flashlight, TV remote, keys ect. Great confidence builder. Q: Will this tray fit a u.s. walker model no. 50015749? It is 20" wide.

I have an Invacare that measures 17". I do not know if there is another tray that is 20", but the tray I received just fits and measures 17". It seems as though, if the hooks are stretched too wide, the tray would not work properly and would most likely break after a short time.
