Tiny cable equals poor picture
I would have sent this cable back but I waited too long to open the package and use it. First, the pictures here are very deceptive. The cable is pictured coiled up so you cannot see that somehow the video and power sides merge into a small, single cable the size of only of the sides. It's not the typical side-by-side, extension cord type design like most of these cables. The result is a low-quality cable with no shielding making it virtually impossible to obtain a quality picture without the horizontal lines from electrical interference. But you get what you pay for. This may be OK for a single camera setup but not for multi-camera systems with several cables to deal with.

Total Junk! Buy a Reputable Brand Name! These Don't Even Have a Country of Origin!!
I have a 12 camera (16 channel) security system that uses BNC cables with 12v power cable like these. I bought 4 of these cables and 3 new cameras. The 4th cable is to replace a damaged cable already installed. I took 3 cables out of the package so far and only 1 works. The picture quality is so bad on the one that works I am going to replace it! There are lines and rainbows across the screen and the video flickers. Often times the video goes blank for several seconds before coming back on. When I reconnect this same camera with a cable I MADE MYSELF it works perfectly! SO, I opened up 2 more cables to test them and they don't work period! I didn't even bother to take the 4th cable out of the package. I'm sending all 4 of these back.I don't know how AMAZON does their math on these reviews. I just glanced at the first 6 reviews and 4 of those 6 are ONE STAR!!! How do they have a 4.4 out of 5 star rating if they are getting four 1 star reviews out of every 6? Now it's going to be FIVE 1 star reviews out of 7.

Picture quality not great.
I only needed about 5 ft of extension cables for three of my cameras so instead of going to my local hardware store (50ft cost about 30 bucks) I bought them on amazon to save money. Well I regret it the picture quality is decent but only after I applied aluminum tape around the BNC adapters and connectors. Prior to that I had a lot of issues with color and picture. After the application the picture improved and keeps a constant feed but now I have a rainbow line that runs across the screen. Don't buy this product I thought replacing the BNC adapter might fix the issue but it didn't. I saved some money but spent a lot of time disconnecting, reconnecting and taping the connectors. it's not worth it.

FLOPPY VIDEO
I needed a longer cable to reach further than the 60 ft supplied cable that came with the Swann camera package. I tested this cable before running it and it was fine. When it was installed, it seemed to have a good video connection for a week or so, then one time it was showing grey while all the other cameras were in perfect color. Now the color came back, but it has stated flopping. The other 6 cameras on the system are fine and all are installed with the Swann cables that came with the package.

Wish I would have read the reviews....Stay Away
I bought this roll to complete the installation of my last camera. I already have for cameras running working perfectly using a different brand cable. I chose this cable simply because it said BNC and it would arrive the quickest but huge mistake! After I ran this 50ft cable all through my attic and connected the camera ran for a few minutes but with poor quality then it shut off and wouldn’t even power the camera anymore. I even added a power booster that came with my camera kit and still nothing. The wire in this cable must be ultra thin is the problem especially for long runs if you have HD cameras stay away. I will be swapping with the ones I installed in my other cameras, I used the WildHD BNC and they work fine I even have a few that are 150ft in length. Hope this helps

Accidently severed cord to one sec cam.
Least expensive 50foot replacement for cable for security cam system (not sure how I did it) and GREAT PRICE, BUT I FAST DELIVERY & WORKS FLAWLESSLY.CON: the main length is SUPER THIN and more likely to accidentally break or get cut.BUT: My last one that did sever (100% my fault) I was thicker & and more expensive, but I so for me no difference other than GREAT LOW PRICE

Low quality
Don’t buy this cable. I too was lured in by the price. ~$10 compared to the $25 local option at Lowe’s. As soon as it arrived it noticed it wasn’t two separate chords like the shorter ones that had come with the system and was available at Lowe’s and generally didn’t seem as high quality, but I thought I would give it a chance. Not a day later the picture quality drops out to total crap and back to normal randomly. Now I have un-mount the camera, return the cable, and rerun the new cable. Not worth saving $15.

Buy the good stuff, not this.
You really get what you paly for, this worked when I first hooked it up to my SWAN system but after a two months the picture started to flicker then it lost the color, just black and white. I’ll just have to bite the bullet and buy the SWAN cables

Terrible! Stay away.
When I first opened the package, my immediate concern was how thin the wire was. One very thin wire for both power and video??!!!?? Wow, ok. So I got it all hooked up and sure enough.... It works fine in the day, but when the camera required more power at night for the night vision, the video blacks out. I'm really not happy. And if I could return, I would. STAY AWAY. Pay a little more. Don't be cheap like me! Lesson learned.

cables are shown in photo but it does not show that both cables go into a single small cable
When i received these cables I realized that the photo of the product is misleading. two cables actually go into one which is half the size of the two cables. I hooked the cables up to the cameras to test them and they seemed to work. I then installed the cables into the walls and through to the outside. All was well until it got dark and the cameras did not work. When I checked the infrared lights on the camera were not coming on, I plugged the power adapter directly to the camera and then it worked. I then took the two 60ft factory cables and joined them together and they worked.so it seems that the cable size for the power is too small to allow the camera infrared light to power up.. Bought a 100ft Night owl cable and it worked just fine. It had both the cables the same size all the way through.

Not a very good video cable
Unfortunately not a very good cable. It is very thin and I got artifacts (jumpiness and blurring) on the video feed. I replaced it with a much longer but better quality cable and the picture cleaned up immediately even though the new cable was longer and you would expect it to be worse. I would not recommend. I was using A 5MP hikvision camera so maybe the artifacts would not be as noticeable on a lower quality source.

Such an improvement
Previous (on exisiting) cables were horrible and cause lots of problems. These ones not only improved quality of vidoe, it stopped the sudden cutting of feed

Great extension for my exterior camera system
Added this to my 100 ft cable to extend the camera's to the back of the house and it worked great. No issues.
