Love Yupo
I like the marble effects you can make on this slick watercolor paper. It's like fingerprinting for adults, using brushes. Guess you could try fingers! I like that the paint can be removed to leave perfect white spaces.

Great for alcohol inks.
I gave this a 5 for absorbency but they really aren’t. That’s their thing. The take alcohol inks that can slide across their surface with some fair drying time. This is the best substrate I’ve found for alcohol inks.

Great stuff
Perfect paper for alcohol inks. Transparent is perfect and my favorite for teaching alcohol ink painting because you can see through it. By putting an image under the piece of paper and trace/painting with the ink.

Nothing works as well for ink
There is no absorbency in this paper. It's plastic I think. I use it with my ink works. It is translucent so my students make lanterns out of it. Only bad thing is the cost. It's a bit pricey.

I’ve used it for years so I knew what I was getting
I mean… it’s pretty great. Anyone who uses Yupo knows what they’re going to get. Wonderful for inks and alcohol ink but is also great and underrated for dry mediums.

Pricy, but worth the money
This is my first try with alcohol ink and yupo paper. I have had horrible experiences with first projects before. Compared to those disasters, this was a breeze!
