Quartz movement Review: Fun price point, I collect watches/all price points - I own several of the brand. I like the display and design. I like the water resistance. My tip: no matter the water resistance rating, or the price of ANY watch...not a good practice to wear in a shower that you are going to use soap/s, etc That can penetrate and degrade any gasket/seal. I don't care if a Rolex. If it's just a beach shower, you're okay. ~ reviewed; 09/26/2024 Review: Nice design but bigger than I hoped. - Pros: -Great unique, square case digital watch design. -3 Alarms that you can customize for daily/weekly -Timer has a nice feature where it beeps once on the last minute, the final 30 seconds, and then beeps for each of the last 10 seconds. Nice way to let you know break is ending. Cons: -It's a lot bulkier, taller and wider than it looks. I have bigger watches that somehow look smaller on my wrist than this. It would look better in a smaller design. -The lugs are a pain to work with. I wanted to try a few NATO straps which I managed to set up ok(btw use double pass NATOs, trust me). When I tried to switch back to the original resin straps I could not get the lugs to fit back in the holes and I did quite some damage on the resin. If you like the straps it comes with leave them there. - The resin case scratches VERY easily as does the crystal. With as big as this watch is you're gonna be bumping it into things left and right so expect some battle scars early on. I sadly picked up a big one the first day I had to break out the polywatch polish.

Armitron knows what time it is
This is a budget-friendly watch that does its job perfectly well. It's a bit larger than it appears in the product photos. You'll get the typical watch construction you'd expect at this price point, so acrylic/plastic with a stainless steel back. This is fine, and the occasional splash of water should be no match for it. I opted for the silver model. It looks really cool, with a nice chunky design. The digits are large and you can easily make out the time, date and day of the week just from a quick glance. The UI is operated via the four buttons. You've got all the expected watch functions: time, date, timer, stopwatch, alarm. The backlight is the "Indiglo" style. When you push the light button, it stays lit for a few seconds, then slowly fades out. That's some nice attention to detail. Overall, this is a fine watch that does its job with an attractive design. Problem is, you're now going to have to dream up an even better excuse for being late to class.

Excellent retro watch with low cost of entry
While I usually wear a smart watch, I do like to change it up once in a while and have a small collection of watches. I was drawn to this one because of the retro-styling, the low price, and name brand, which has been in the watch game for a while now. The watch was easy to set with reasonably clear instructions. The backlight is bright and high-contrast enough that telling time in the dark is very easy. While I haven't (nor will I ever) tested it's 100m water-resistance claim, I've used it to some degree in the pool and while washing my hands and can say in those circumstances it holds up just fine. My only gripe with it is the strap is very stiff, out of the package. I know it will become more flexible with time but it's just a touch awkward-feeling at first. Other than that small issue, I can wholly recommend this watch.

Oversized and affordable sports watch with unique back light
At this price point, was not expecting much from this watch. Yes, it is plastic and rubber so don't expect an overly fancy case and strap but it does what it says it will do. I haven't tested the waterproofness yet but everything else works as expected. It comes with a manual but for the most part; all functions are pretty self-explanatory so that is good. Would get again if you are looking for a basic sports watch. Tried to capture in a video the backlit LCD but trying to do one handed made it a little chaotic.
