Directions are exactly as follows: Step 1, go to this website and follow along.Video is hard to follow along and gets very confusing even after stopping and rewatching several times. 10 out of 10 do not recommend if you are a beginner.

Triceratops Review: Overall, I was able to complete the Triceratops dinosaur. Which was great, however the written instructions were hard to follow which made getting the stitch counts to add up to be equal to their stitch counts difficult at times. The woman on the video crocheted very fast and I had to slow the video down to half speed. It was nice to have a video and written instructions as I did have to resort to using both at multiple times. I would give this one a 3/5 stars.Blue Dinosaur (T-Rex) Review: First, stitch counts are wrong, it is even written wrong in the video. One row says 12 single crochets and in the video she only does 8 single crochets in the video. There is only room left in that row for 8 single crochets. This row throws off the whole written pattern, so I suggest following the video. Sometimes the video was not centered and you could not see what she was doing, so the video was hard to follow at times. The yarn had a knot halfway through to join two pieces of yarn. so I had to crochet through that yarn knot.Yarn quality was very nice, tools were great, everything was included. The kit was complete, but it could use better instructions, especially if it is geared towards beginners. Very cute kits, but not as easy as I thought they'd be due to instructional issues.

It's very much doable. But if you're looking for a kit to make your very first amigurumi, this is not the one you want. Maybe if you've already done like 3 others.My only advice would be to slow the video and really pay attention at R6 in the pattern. I had to redo that part several times.It does come with useful tools for crochet. Stitch markers, crochet hook, sewing needle, etc. stuff you'll be able to reuse in future projects. Not the scissors though. They're useless. Throw them away.

The media could not be loaded. This was not as easy as I thought it would be. I’m not sure if I would say it is for beginners but if you push through and take the time to do it right, it is worth the effort! I made this little guy for my 5 month old niece and am absolutely in love with the little guy!
