Not your HomeDepot Goof plate
I have to admit the price on this plate was high compared to the price of your HomeDepot Goof plates. However, the quality is far superior. We bought two of these to fix our problem of to big of holes in our ceiling. The plates actually made our light fixtures look high end. I would buy again. Sometimes you do get what you pay for.

Easier than drywall patch!
Used this to cover an existing can hole and added another as we were mounting 2 fixtures. Wayyyy easier than a drywall patch and probably having to repaint a very large ceiling area. They look great and are of good weight, not flimbsy in any way. Matched brushed stainless light fixtures perfectly.
