IMO Besides it's health benefits this salt has a very salty taste, more so than regular table salt, which makes it ideal for people wanting to reduce their salt intake without reducing flavor and uses. Less is more. As described in a Google search: Celtic salt, also known as sel gris, is special due to its unique mineral content, harvesting methods, and texture. It's a minimally processed sea salt with a higher concentration of minerals like magnesium, calcium, and potassium compared to table salt. Harvested using traditional methods in Brittany, France, it retains a natural moisture and coarse, gray texture, setting it apart from refined table salt.

This salt has not lost its savour, and therefore is good to salt therewith. It has multiplied the taste of my meals. Very tasty, also useful for many other purposes.

Great product

I bought this salt for the minerals that it provides. The salt is fine grain and dissolves well. The only negative thing is that the moisture level seems to clog up the salt shaker. It taste great and is good for cooking. I don't think it taste quite as salty as regular table salt. Overall I would purchase again and is a good value for the price.

The salt tastes lovely, but it’s definitely not ground extra fine. In fact a more accurate description would be coarsely ground salt. I purchased the salt specifically because I wanted extra fine salt.They need to change the description from extra fine to “coarse” as “extra fine” is not at all accurate.

Wonderful, good tasting salt. Not like your mere table salt. Use it and you will see how it enhances the flavors of your foods. I highly recommend it.
