Kenwood kMix Hand Mixer, 350 Watt - Bright Yellow [Energy Class A]

I really like the quality of the mixer. It's heavy and well build. The stand is really useful. Gave it only 4 as the cord does not wrap around the base completely. Otherwise it's lovely.

This is the best mixer I have ever had! Although it is heavy, it is well balanced and it is easy to change hands and hold it by the body if one hand gets tired. I have never used the dough hooks with previous mixers, as they didn't seem to help with the bread making process, but I when I realized what a fantastically slow speed can be achieved with this mixer, I thought I would give them a go. They are great! You start off slowly, there is no cloud of flour as there would be with other mixers, and gradually increase the speed. This results in a smooth, stretchy dough which only needs a little bit of hand-kneading. As for cakes and icings, this machine does everything you would expect it to do, but with a lot more control than some other mixers I have used. I previously had a Dualit with a soft body, which looked great but was the devil to clean. No such problem with the Kenwood, which is so bright and shiny, but with a soft handle for comfort. You can get cheaper mixers, but it really is worth the extra.

Light, comfortable to use and not too noisy. The stand makes it easy to store and keeps all the attachments together.

I read the reviews available before purchasing this item. It is heavy but I never use a hand held mixer for long so I don't find this a problem. The cord does not stow away completely which is a silly design flaw but since I keep my mixer in a drawer on its stand and not on the worktop this is no problem for me either. It is well built and well balanced and the longer mixing blades are great. Personally I would have preferred a white or stainless steel model but being tucked away in a drawer colour is no big deal. It is easy to adjust the speed and I can fell the power in it. I have used it for mixing cake batters and pastry very successfully. I strongly recommend this product.

Too powerful really, but it looks lovely!

This is a fantastic hand mixer. Yes,It's slightly more expensive than its less attractive counterpart, but it is incredibly comfortable to use. It feels light to hold, and when the mixer is on it doesn't make your whole arm vibrate violently. It's really smooth, and also much quieter than other mixers I've had in the past. It also looks great! I bought it in yellow, and it's become a staple piece on my kitchen counters - everyone comments on how great it looks. This is a mixer that has style and substance!

I bought this to replace an old hand mixer & I love it.It's feels solid, without being heavy, not as noisy as I had expected it to be & it's oh so fast.The stand is ok, I probably won't be using it as the mixer will be in a drawer.I haven't used the dough hooks as I don't make bread. The beaters & hooks are long, so you can use a big bowl easily.The very best thing about it is the gorgeous yellow color.I am very happy with my purchase.

I bought this in orange, it cost a bit more but I'm glad I did, I love the colour!The mixer feels like it was built to last, although the stand itself is made from a lightweight plastic which I don't think will last as long.The mixer is very heavy, which is something that should be considered when buying.It is a lot quieter when running compared to previous mixers. I'm overall, very happy!
