It is the perfect decor piece for HP fans...young and adults alike. It is plastic. The graphics on the front are perfect on the item I received. The little curled mental pieces where the light actually hangs from may be bent a little (or a lot from what I read from other reviews) and it is not an easy fix. Conveniently, the metal hanger itself is designed so that you can hang the light on the side or front. For me I decide to place it on my bookcase and chose to hang the light on the side of the hanger (the little front curled piece was a little off, and crooked things drive me crazy). It has a multi-light function but my preference is white as shown in the pictures I provided with this review. btw I never ever been offered freebies for my reviews, but I often wonder how those folks are chosen. lol Is it a part-time, work from home gig? 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

My daughter is a fan of Harry Potter movies and already had several decor items in her room. I thought this night light would add a nice touch. It's....OK. This is one of those products that looks better in product description pictures than it does in person. It was a bit smaller than I expected when I opened the box. Thankfully, there were no issues with our bracket or hardware and the installation was straightforward.The description says that the brightness was upgraded and if that's the case, it must have been pretty bad previously. The problem is that the lighting is concentrated in the center and struggles to give it that nice glow to the sides, especially with some of the colors. They should change the design so that the lighting is dispersed throughout the lamp more evenly. I do appreciate that you can make various adjustments using the remote control, here's hoping that they come out with a v3 that contains improvements.

Absolutely NO quality control. The bracket was so obviously crooked I noticed it as soon as I opened the box. (See photo.) Also, like other reviewers said, the light is only in the center of the sign.

I recently ordered this indoor 9¾ platform sign, inspired by Harry Potter, for my son’s room. His room has an eclectic decor, featuring a variety of fandoms, and this sign adds a unique touch to that collection. The design of the sign is neat and definitely appeals to a Harry Potter fan. However, the quality of the light leaves a bit to be desired. It’s not very bright and appears somewhat blotchy, giving off a slightly cheap impression. Despite these drawbacks, the sign still holds its charm and fits well within the diverse and whimsical theme of my son’s room. Overall, while the sign could benefit from improved lighting quality, it remains a cool decor piece, especially for those who appreciate the magical world of Harry Potter.

This Harry Potter light looks really cool. I love it- the frame is metal - mine came with a slight bend which I am hoping will be easy to straighten when it's hung- the sign is a heavy plastic but the paint looks really nice and is going to look awesome once it's on the wall- the design allows for a few different ways to hang - although note that it does not have the face on both sides. The back is black with the battery compartment and switch.- I like that is it the wattage of a night light - it has a soft glow- It has a remote!!- I wish that the light itself illuminated a larger area of the face instead of being concentrated in the middle. - I found that it looks like different colors have different levels of diffusion? so it's less obvious on some colors.Overall, this is really cool

We lovr Harry Potter so we had to have this HP 9 3/4 hanging light. Unfortunately the bracket came to us broken so we couldn't use it, but we ended up buying a cheap one from the dollar store and it works the same. I will say that the design of this is literally just a puck light inside the plastic design and you can clearly see that it's a puck light lol. If that doesn't bother you then it's a very cute item.
