Effective for Seniors

Highly effective at combating winter blues
This light has definitely improved my mood during the winter doldrums. Living in an area where the winters are long and dark, the lack of light really becomes apparent. I have this small light set up on my counter and I turn I on while I cook dinner and wash dishes. Gives me a nice dose of light for a couple hrs a day. It's very bright, so watch your eyes. I also have the Lumie solar blowup lanterns and they are awesome too.

Insomnia Cure!
Literally cured my insomnia! I Used this every morning for about 2 weeks then reduced it to 2-3 times a week (30 min sessions). Very important though, I also integrated using amber lense (blue light blocking glasses) at night everyday. This combo legit helped me overcome years of insomnia!

My wife loves it! Living in northern Michigan in the winter the sky is mighty gray. This light makes it bearable for her.

Very Bright but Cord is Short
This is a very bright light therapy lamp. I wanted to make sure I got a 10,000 Lux light which is recommended for light therapy and this one delivers. I hoped to be able to set it up on my vanity or on a table in my living room to use while I was doing other things but the cord is quite short. I am using an extension cord with it but it makes it look kind of junky. I haven't used it long enough to notice mood/health effects, but it seems well made, has good instructions, and is easy to use. I like how it is compact and easy to store as needed.
