DO NOT BUY! COMPLETELY GARBAGE
This replacement LED for the Welch Allyn otoscope is defective. The LED probably gets destroyed immediately with the voltage from Allyn's original battery and doesn't last even 1 minutes. All 5 LEDs stopped working within 1 minute in the same way. It's garbage.

Didn't last a few weeks each!
My original bulbs lasted for years, like 5+ years. I thought I'd save money and get these since Welch Allyn is so way overpriced and I know it's only for the brand name, not necessarily the quality, but I will never buy these again!! Each bulb lasted between weeks and DAYS! One bulb didn't even work. Such a waste of money. I bought them May 29th, and by early September I had gone through all of them. WASTE OF MONEY!! So one didn't work and the others lasted about 4 weeks. Good luck.

Working well
These LED replacement bulbs have been working well almost 2 months now. It's a cool white color and seems to be similar in brightness. Hopefully they will last as long as the halogen ones they replaced.

These are absolutely terrible. They all burned out after an hour or 2 of use.

How handy! It is always smart to have replacement bulbs, especially for equipment that is utilized regularly.
