TOMS Men's Paseo Sneaker

TOMS known for giving out a pair of shoes for children in need, these are my first pair and I am impressed with the aesthetic simplicity. The soles have a synthetic leather texture, comfortable enough for bare feet and smooth enough for sliding in with a sock. I was hesitant at first due to the negative reviews on the TOMS product webpage, but I'm glad that did not deter me. I was looking exactly for something slim and low profile. However the negative reviews were related to how quickly these TOMS fell apart, therefore I'll post another update once I've worn these for a few months.Edit 4/4/2016These Paseos began falling apart after about 60 days of use, the edges where the fabric meets the soles lose its adhesive. I've tried using fabric glue to keep them together but it hasn't helped. I hear this is a common complain about most TOMS, as they do not last very long.

I was torn with getting a pair of Crocs shoes and TOMS. I got the Crocs and immediately packaged them and ordered the TOMS. Right out of the box, the TOMS are a bit stiff and need breaking in, but were comfortable and I was able to wear them for about 8 hours straight, including a walking date. They are a little hard to put on because of the elastic for the tongue (assuming this is for if you want to wear them with no laces). I've had one pair of TOMS in the past, and they didn't last as long as I'd hoped, so we shall see with these. There was one small defect, one of the eyelets for the laces is missing the back part inside the shoe, but it doesn't affect looks or functionality. And as far as looks-these shoes are great for jeans, shorts, trunks, socks, no socks...dress them up or dress them down!!

As a first time TOMS customer, I sadly won't be purchasing again. Though stylish and comfortable, I would have received the same quality if not better from a pair of Walmart shoes. I deviated from my normal brand of shoes in hopes of finding something new and better, and was only left disappointed. In less than 6 months the sides were completely ripped open with my feet exposed.

Very comfortable, lightweight, and inexpensive - what more could you want?I had seen other reviews mention some the shoes started to fall apart after like 6 months or so - IMO for 20$, I wouldn't care if that happened. They are extremely comfortable and light, and fit perfectly - for a price like that I would have no problems just getting another pair.So far so good though - as it stands, I have literally no complaints.

So, after I got myself a pair of Tom's recently (the Avalon slip-ons), and raving about them nonstop to my husband, he was convinced to buy a pair. Just like me, I'm pretty sure he saw the light with Tom's, and will be a buyer for life. They are very well constructed, the material is high quality, there is ample arch support for this style of shoe, and the material is also flexible enough to accommodate a wider size foot without stretching or becoming damaged. Overall, we are both very happy with the quality of the shoes, but especially with the comfort. As soon as he put his on, he said the same thing I had said about mine: they feel like I've owned them forever and have been worn to fit my feet exactly.Great purchase!

They look great, fit nicely with gel inserts and thanks to the higher side wall on the shoes I feel like I can walk in the rain without any issues. These are Tom's, so there isn't much in the way of padding in the inside, so if you haven't bought these kind of shoes before buy just a half size smaller than usual sneakers and your feet will be nice and cozy.

I had these identical shoes in grey tweed and loved them until the last step. These ones look similar and I am happy to continue stepping in them. These fit a wee bit small for some reason, perhaps the old ones were stretched out. I'll go with thin socks. Oh well!

I'm happy I found these! These shoes are not being sold on the TOMS website anymore so I was ecstatic to find them on Amazon. These are probably one of my favorite shoes. You do have to break them in-the back of the shoe will rub against your heel but that subsides after a week or two of wearing these.
