Fabulous, Beautiful Book
Mark D. Sykes has done it again! This book is absolutely gorgeous and inspiring. I love the organization by month. The different locations, the attention to the smallest details which make all the difference in an overall look. The photos are stunning. If you love an interesting mix of color, antiques and contemporary pieces and design styles blended to create a classic look, this book is for you! Love it!

Wow, what a talent. I had heard of Mark Sikes but had never taken the time to look at his work. I’m so impressed with the projects he presents in the book. The pictures are full of details and beautiful colors. This book will inspire anyone thinking about decorating their own home.

Beautiful
Mark Sikes is my favorite designer of all time. This book, like his previous books, tells the story of timeless accessible design. Less blue a white, and more daring colors. Totally classic. There are some really innovative ideas here, like the way they designed a runner for an unusual staircase. So many lovely details. I’m reading slowly to make it last.

In inspirational interior decorating book.
I love his books. Filled with lovely photos of beautiful rooms and homes, his books are truly inspirational. This is a beautiful book, and his interior designs are just beautiful.

Beautiful rooms as usual!
Many beautiful rooms. I didn’t care for the commentary by the smaller photos - often stating the obvious. Would rather have had larger photos and no text. But that’s a small quibble. I have all his books bc his take on traditional style never feels heavy or overly formal.

Touch’s my soul with the many ways to decorate with many shades of blue
What a well made book on how to express love of nature in the color blue of the ocean and sky. Earth tones also used as the seasons change. Nature has the very best color combinations inside and out. Arrangement details in all things are the most beautiful.

I love this beautiful book!
I have the other two beautiful books by Mark Sikes. All three are fabulous! They give great inspiration and ideas for making a beautiful home. They also look wonderful displayed with blue and white vases or jars on top!

Lovely book
This is a beautiful book, I’m not American but love how clean these rooms look, the style is a little bit “museum like”, but of course you have to bring your own personality into your home. But it’s a good source of inspiration and a lovely coffee table book .

Disappointment
I was disapointed with the book! The decor style presented felt dated and the ambiences felt curated without the feeling of Real People living there. I miss the cosiness and confort of the american style in this book. It is not my type of work and style. I don’t recommend this purchase.
