Excellent product - greatly reduced my rosacea
This is an excellent system for those, like me, with rosacea or very sensitive skin. I was suffering from a bad rosacea flare brought on by the cold Michigan winter. Even though I see a dermatologist, she didn't have many recommendations when it came to what cleanser or what moisturizer I should use. My doctor said that there are so many products out there, she can only truly recommend Cetaphil cleanser, and you need to find what works for you. Well, I am not a huge fan of Cetaphil because it makes my skin feel tight. So, I was googling around, looking for recommendations when I came across Avene. I liked the kit because you received a full size moisturizer plus the cleanser and spray for only a couple dollars more than the actual price of the moisturizer alone. This system is amazing. I noticed a reduction in my rosacea in about 10 days. After 6 weeks of use, my rosacea flare is well on its way to being gone - I would say I am 85% clear. It will take you a few days to figure out how much cleanser, spray, and moisturizer is right for you. I ended up buying a separate bottle of cleanser because I used that the quickest. The moisturizer is very rich, soothing, and moisturizing, and a little bit goes a long way. The same is true of the spray - you only need a quick, light spray. I am not a big fan of using the Avene cleanser without water (I don't like the feel of it). Here is my routine: 1) I rinse my face with lukewarm water; 2) use Dove Sensitive bar soap on my eyes, eyebrows, and neck; 3) rinse; 4) apply the Avene cleanser to my skin; 5) rinse with lukewarm water/pat dry. Then I apply the spray and moisturizer. If my skin is very dry that day, I apply pure, virgin coconut oil to my face after the spray but before the Avene moisturizer. (For me, the coconut oil helps reduce the rosacea redness and inflammation. I am not saying this will work for everyone). If my skin feels tight or dry throughout the day, I spray on some Avene, and it relieves the tightness and irritation even when I am wearing makeup. Overall, I love this system. If I happen to go a day without it, my skin is very red and irritated the next day. I highly recommend, and I won't be without Avene again.

Where have you been all my life
I don’t write reviews. EVER. But this trio of products warranted one. These three products by Avene had their work cut out for them - I’ve been fighting the cumulative effects of postpartum hormones, eczema, impossibly dry skin, maskne, skin sensitivity, hard water, and a rash that looks a lot like acne but I recently learned is dermatitis. I mean... my skin was SO dry and irritated from the hard water in our rental house that it wouldn’t absorb moisturizers. That’s how bad it was. After a Google search for “skincare for hard water” directed me to the Avene Hypersensitivity line, I decided to try this kit. $38 seemed reasonable when I had tried virtually everything else (including VERY expensive cult brands whose kits ran to $250+). I really didn’t have much to lose.72 hours in, and I can actually see my skin underneath all the damage the last couple of months has wrought. My dermatitis is much calmer, I don’t have any new blemishes, and my unaffected skin looks smooth and even. It’s nothing short of a MIRACLE.I don’t know why I didn’t try Avene sooner. I’ve seen it around over the years, but something about the unassuming packaging and my lack of knowledge about the brand never enticed me.But honestly who needs eye-catching packaging when your product actually WORKS. This stuff is a revelation - if I had just treated my skin long ago as hypersensitive and reactive, I might have saved myself a lot of grief, time, and money.Cleansing without water takes a little getting used to, but I’ve found spraying a bit of the Eau Thermale on before and after using the cleansing lotion takes care of that. I find the moisturizer to be just the right weight - rich without being heavy. There’s no overpowering scent and no weird unnecessary ingredients, which satisfies my desire for simplicity. And if you’re topically sensitive to common cosmetic ingredients like soy and wheat, those are noticeably (and thankfully) absent as well.I’m already planning to buy the larger versions of all these items so I don’t run out.

Can't believe this worked for my adult acne
I generally don't write reviews but after a lifetime of acne I thought should give my experience. Over the years I've used tons of prescriptions, OTC products and medical treatments. After years of trial and error the acne has improved but I still have some persistent little buggers that pop up around my nose/mouth and leave marks for months. In addition, some of the products make my skin super dry/red and it's a terrible balancing act getting it right. Sometimes the prescriptions cause my skin to flake which in turn creates more acne. So when I stumbled on this, I decided to give it a try. Years ago I went bathing in a natural hot spring and was surprised my skin cleared up ( I guess the ancient Greeks were right about a few things) I almost wanted to bottle it up and bring some home. Well that is what this product is. I was shocked how my skin cleared up and the redness went away - I wish I did before and after pictures. I did take some advice from one of the prior reviewers - don't just spray the water on the skin and walk away. Unprotected, the water will eventually evaporate, drying out the skin. Instead, after letting it soak in for 2-3 mins then use the cream in the kit to seal in the minerals and prevent over drying. I was afraid the cream would make me break out. Instead it calmed down all the redness - I'm pretty shocked. I'm wondering why it took me so long to figure this out. I don't know if this will remove a full fledged teen acne breakout- but it greatly improved my skin's redness, flaky skin and adult acne.
