Non-stick as the label states
This pan has certainly been well built with a good non-stick coating that really does work.As soon as it arrived, I gave it a good wash, which was very easy, although it is a little heavy, but this is only down to the good quality build.I decided to make my own stir-fry and normally it'd stick in my other pans, but this one, even with only a couple of drops of oil, did not allow anything to stick. With the solid base, it keeps the pan well stable on the hob and allows even distribution of heat throughout the food.I got the 28cm pan, which is quite large, enough to serve 3 servings, or 2 quite large portions. The pan is quite thick and robust and won't dent easily when cooking or washing.Good grip on the handle, covered in a silicone type material, with a hole in the handle, allowing you to hang amongst your other collection pans.I would certainly recommend this if you are looking for a good pan to last you many years.

A small, non-stick frying pan with a long black stay cool handle, ideal for omelettes.
This single, 20cm frying pan is very well constructed but has a slight flaw.It is a solid, ceramic coated aluminium pan solidly riveted to a comfortable plastic handle. The pan is suitable for most heat sources (gas, electric, induction, halogen) and, in use is very good.Cooking an omelette in this frying pan was very easy. The frying pan heated up quickly, the omelette cooked evenly and never stuck. However, the only downside was the stability of the frying pan when it stood empty on our gas hob. There was a tendency for the pan to tip if placed at 45deg to the gas stand (ours consists of 4 'fingers' essentially at the 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock positions). This does not happen when food is in the frying pan and would tend to suggest that the pan is too finely balanced and would have benefitted from either a slightly more weighty pan base or less weighty handle. I feel this issue is localised to this size of pan, I doubt a larger pan would do this. Our pan has been through our dish washer several times now. The pan cleans very easily and with no damage to either internal or external coatings. We will be using this pan, it is very convenient and cooks very well. However, we will need to watch for that 'tipping' issue.

Good quality and range of sizes
Salter BW12876EU7 Ceramic Frying Pan Set – 3 Piece 20/24/28 cm Recycled Aluminium Body, Healthy PFOA & PFAS-Free Non-Stick Coating, Induction, Soft Touch Stay Cool Handle, Egg/Omelette Cooking Pan - £49.99These look and feel like good quality and robust. They are comfortable to hold and a good selection of sizes. The non-stick function works well, even with my terrible cooking! I find I am using less oil in them than in my old pans. They heat up in good time and are easy to clean.

A good set of pans.
These are a lovely set of frying pans with a useful range of sizes that can cope with a single egg all the way up to a full English breakfast. The fact that they’re made from recycled aluminium is a big plus for me, as is the lack of harmful chemicals in the non-stick coating. It is also a nice touch that Salter plant a tree for every set of these they sell a big plus for the environment which is very important to me.The base is quite thick and I’ve not noticed any warping or distortion when using them on our halogen hob and the handles seem to cope with heat transfer quite well too and the non-stick coating works well. They feel nice and solid without being too weighty. At just over £16 per pan (the set was £48.99 at the time of ordering), I think they’re a good price and can’t really find any fault with them.

Salter Ceramic Non Stick Stir Fry Pan
This 28cm Stir Fry Pan from Salter is an excellent choice for cooking stir fries, Chilli Con Carne, Curries and other home made dishes. I've not tried any other products from Salter before but i'm really pleased with the quality and weight of this pan, it's not too heavy or lightweight and stays firmly on the hob top without sliding everywhere. It's compatible with my induction hob too which is great as i often find it difficult to find pans which are compatible. It is also compatible with gas hobs, halogen, radiant ring's and electric solid hobs. The pan is easy to clean and i have washed this in the dishwasher and it's come out as good as new. The pan has a 5 year guarantee and for every pan purchased Salter will plant a tree. Overall a great pan, has a recycled aluminium body and PFAS-FREE too, I would highly recommend this pan!!

A decent frypan set
This Salter Frying Pan Set comprises three frying pans - 20/24/28cm and the two distinguishing features seem to be their green credentials and their healthy, completely PFOA/PFAS-free, non-stick lining which ensures no chemicals get released into your food or the environment. The pans are made from recycled aluminum and are suitable for gas, induction, halogen, electric radiant rings, and solid electric hobs. In use on my Neff induction hob, I've found these pans heat up quite quickly and evenly plus respond rapidly when you reduce/increase the heat. Overall, the thermal performance is good. The handles are covered in a softish-touch silicone type material and are easy to use without slipping. The handles are also firmly attached to the pan by a rivet, plus, there's a Philips-type screw that looks as though it can be used to tighten the handle if it becomes loose. The handles transmit some heat but it's very manageable and much less than many pans I've used. The non-stick ceramic coating is impressive, I found I can use a bit less oil and the pans are easy to clean but do not appear to be suitable for the dishwasher. Overall, I'd like to have seen some more detail on the pack about care for the internal surface of the pans. Also, on my pack, there's reference to a "tempered glass lid with steam vent" which is clearly wrong - no lids are included.Overall, these are nice frying pans that perform well thermally, are non-stick, and easy to clean plus the green credentials seem genuinely good, also, there's an on-pack QR code that you can use to chart progress with tree planting by Salter with Ecologi.
