i got one pack of the black 36 square feet - $46 i believe, it was the perfect size for the space! been trying to find these for a reasonable price while getting the quality & quantity and these little square puzzles have been found to be overpriced for no reason. - i have it 4 stars because they didn’t fit exactly, would be nice if companies made border pieces and labeled them separately in the package saying like (1/2 and included instructions) besides that it was fairly simple & this worked great for our house. 3 tips! 1) don’t overthink the puzzle piece thing try to enjoy it, when you over think NONE of it makes sense and you think it’s all wonky - what helped me was taking all the straight edges making a border first than filling in the middle 2) once you make your border take all remaining pieces and start taking off the edges put them in a pile to go back to if needed - i just kept connecting til i was finished 3) at the end you will have 4-5 pieces that won’t be perfect matches, go back to your pile of the xtra ends & try to make match than take Scissors and cut the edges to try to make them fit into the puzzle piece! & voilà! you’re done 😌 - i don’t know how this product is for long term use but so far so good. also noticed someone mentioned a smell from the factory lingering - i did not witness that. so just wanted to reassure anyone who read that review.

I got this for our garage, which I recently converted into a workout area. For reference, I bought 6 packs and that was enough to cover 200 square ft. The price in total was about $100. I like how the pieces are very easy to assemble. It’s shaped like a puzzle so you just push them together to attach them. I got it all done in less than 10 minutes, minimal effort. I am very satisfied with the result- the padding is very soft and provides just enough cushioning. It’s comfortable to walk on and protects the floor from the weight of my gym equipment. I wear my shoes when I’m working out however so the pads get a lot of buildup dirt and dust. Luckily they are simple to clean, I just use a microfiber mop like this one with a little bit of water. But sometimes I’ll take the time to sanitize it with some cleaner (the same type we use for our hard floors) or white vinegar. You don’t want to add too much water however otherwise it’ll go through the mat and onto the floor. Same thing for cleaners. I also vacuum it from time to time cause well, it’s the garage and it gets dirty down there. I have noticed however that they do become dented under my gym equipment. To be honest, I’m not that surprised- I didn’t expect the foam to be able to hold up all that weight anyways. Another thing…the pieces will sometimes come apart if you’re doing intense workouts. I found a way to fix that though, I put a little bit of glue on the padding and that seems to do the trick. Might be worth a try if you’re having the same problem. Other things: - The surface is texturized which makes it non-slip - You’ll probably end up with a lot of extra edge pieces - The pieces will come apart if you’re moving them around - You can rearrange them very easily - You might have to cut some corners depending on the layout of the room Yeah. They’re not perfect but they work as advertised. I’m glad I got them.

The sqft was as described I just mean it’s a bunch of smaller than expected tiles that connect. I was expecting larger tiles less areas to connect and risk separating from walking traffic in and out everyday. Durability and quality and texture of the product itself is great! I just wasn’t wanting 50+ size tiles the size of a lined piece of paper, would have liked the sqft I bought to be as much of one whole piece as possible. I used it for my back porch floor from my hot tub to the door. When myself and dogs run in and out I always have to pop a tile or two back in. Put some tape on the bottom of each line to help that you can’t even see but I know it’s there, I’m just picky not what I expected.

They’re perfect for use under my dogs crate. I kept getting noise complaints about the crate in my apartment and now that I’ve added these under it, it makes absolutely no sound. Very affordable and easy to snap together. They fit easily under an extra large dog crate.

I used these to make a soft flooring for my dog kennel (which I actually call the dog condo because I don’t like my dogs to feel like it’s not their home) in my heated garage. We have three dogs, one of which won’t sit on hard surfaces so these mats were so nice for him. These are so easy to put in, and keep clean. I would just use the shop vac to suck up the dog hair and a simple deck mop to scrub when needed. I never had to adjust them back to the original position. Two of my dogs are a year old and as puppies do they did find a place to chew through. It would have been perfect for older dogs that are out of the destructive stage. I can’t really fault the product for being soft and not puppy proof. So I would say the durability is 10/10. I will be reinstalling these when the puppies get older.

Used these for blocking crochet blankets. Worked great! You can make it as large or small as I need.

Fit together great, and plenty of extra side edge pieces to make it endlessly adjustable and modular. They're nice and compact and still perfectly comfortable too.
