I'm truly enjoying this DVD set. I can only do a few minutes at a time with my schedule, but I still learn a lot in a well-paced fashion. The instructor is extremely pleasant. Her attitude is so conducive to learning belly dance in an enjoyable and natural way. I find the instructions and drills really clear and easy to understand. I do have a background in classical ballet and other forms of dance, so I've had to "unlearn" dancing with a really immobile waist and trunk, which I didn't think was possible after so many years of muscle memory, but she does a great job of making things easy breezy without the pressure and high speed of other teachers I've encountered. I would recommend it for sure.

The instructor is great, and does a wonderful job of breaking down all of the steps. If you are new to belly dancing, I would take it slow with this, as you are doing movements over and over again that your body may not be used to. I bought this to supplement my online belly dance classes during Covid to get extra workouts in.The packing is awful--3 DVDs on top of each other with no separation. I think they would scratch easily if you don't separate them.I would buy this again.

I thought this was exercise. It's good to practice and learn basic steps, movements etc. But as intermediate it's a no. Too basic. Hence 4 stars.The teacher is great. So for those completely new to belly dance this is a good start.She teaches the movements. It's up to you to make a dance out of it. Nothin wrong with that. And it's Biladi style. Now that I have wanted to learn.

Every year, I buy my three adult daughters and myself the same basic gift; this year our gift is belly dancing. Each household received 2+ belly dancing hips scarfs, finger cymbals, and music CDs. Fun memories from a night-out in Charlotte for us all!

I have 5 belly dance video sets and this is my favorite. It starts very slow and relaxed and the teacher is happy, real and low key. She helps you enjoy the lessons and not over do to start. Her instructions are clear and she goes slow and talks you through the techniques. Belly dance does take a tone of practice to get technique and grace. Even if you don't care about those 2 issues you will carve inches off your waste in about 6 weeks of doing this daily!

Every five minutes the DVD stops between the next lesson. Then you have to press play agian to move to the next part.

Wonderful DVD if you wis to learn belly dancing. Excellent teacher

so easy to follow along ,fun and I have noticed my core is stronger and my bladder leak is gone !
