Retro-Holiday Bubble Light Centerpiece - (Includes 9 Nostalgic Bubble Lights!)

I was on the fence about ordering this but Amazon's price was way cheaper than that old-time retailer in Vermont, so I took a chance and got it. I figured the worse that could happen was that I would have to buy some bubble lights to replace the full set (which I was willing to do without getting all bent out of shape about it). In fact, I ordered a string of bubble lights along with this just to have the extra bulbs on hand. To my delight, all were full of liquid and in perfect condition. Works great. It's a great retro looking piece. Glad I bought it.

This centerpiece brought me so much joy! I just took it out for year 5 and sadly 4 bulbs are out. The previous 4 years though every bulb would light every year and I’d leave it on through the entire season. My only complaint is that you cannot buy replacement bulbs that are the same color and with the glitter. The one option I found is $25 for 3 bulbs so I just ordered an entirely new one.

These lights are attractive and so far have held up well. We have cats and so far they have left the decoration alone. The quality is pretty cheap but I wanted bubble lights.Update: Took them out of the box and set them up for this year. All of the lights are still working. Very pleased.

I love the Retro Holiday Bubble Light Centerpiece! Mine bubbles after just a few seconds after being turned on. The red and green bottom pieces glow brightly and look terrific. The candle lights are a whirl with hundreds of tiny bubbles that never stop bubbling as long as it is turned on and take a few minutes after you turn it off to stop bubbling. The green holly and pine garland that goes around it looks fine. This centerpiece so reminds me of the 50s. They make a lovely display and since there are nine candle lights they could be used for Hannukah. There is a switch to turn them on and off as well.

When I received this, it's flimsy-plasticky appearance was bad enough. But it got worse. First, one of the bulbs contained very little fluid and wouldn't bubble. Then, it quit working entirely when run for less than an hour, never to restart. I emailed the seller, who couldn't be bothered to respond. Now I'll have to buy an expensive floral centerpiece for the Christmas table. Defective product, non-existent customer service. It doesn't get much worse than this.

I thought this piece was adorable, but when it arrived, I was disappointed with the poor quality look . Used it anyway and within a few days one of the bulbs started losing it's liquid. Before I finished using it for the season, about two weeks time, one bulb was dry and a second one was getting considerably lower. Naturally, it's hard to bubble if you don't have fluid. If that problem could be solved, I think I could overlook the cheaper look of the base.

The good: This centerpiece reminds me of our bubble lights when I was a child--trying to get them to bubble, watching them on the tree, etc. That's why I bought this. And we are enjoying it very much for that reason.The bad: However, one of the bulbs came with no liquid. The light works, so the effect of the centerpiece is there, but I shouldn't have to replace a bulb on a new product.And the bugly: I contacted the seller and was told they have no replacement parts and i would have to send the whole think back to Amazon and replace the whole thing. I don't have time right now!!!!!Then, as I read other reviews, I discovered you can buy replacement bulbs on Amazon. At least the seller could have told me that. At any rate, she was courteous, just not at all helpful in solving problem. For that reason, I did not rate the seller well on this item. Now I'm going to chat with Amazon about sending me replacement bulbs free. I hope that works.

I love these bubbles lights that have glitter inside the tubes that shows when the lights heat up and bubble. I was so pleased with this after I purchased and was pleasantly surprised by the bubbling glitter. I have always loved bubble lights since I was a child. These lights are striking and add such a festive glow to any decor for the holidays.You wouldn't be disappointed if you purchase this set of lights. They are bright and beautiful.
