Cotton Candy Pool Float

First off, I'd like to state that I am a HUGE big mouth product lover. I have about 5 floats and love them ALL. Naturally, as much as I love all things cotton candy and pool float related I HAD to have this product. After one use the float burst at the seam and left me so sad... so I contacted amazon and they refunded me the money and I sent the damaged one back (even their provided hole patch couldn't help as it split right down the side). I decided to reorder it but from Kohls this time since I had some coupons and SAME EXACT THING ON THE FIRST USE!! The top of this float is so much thinner than the others, I'm assuming its because its see-through so it needed a different material. Seriously love the idea of seeing the glitter on the inside, but Big Mouth consider making a Cotton Candy float that's NOT see through so it's made with the same durable material as the other floats. I'll keep my eye out next year for a newer version but my recommendation: unless you're using this for a prop, it's not worth the investment because it can't hold any weight. For reference, I'm 5'6 and roughly 140 lbs, hardly anything heavy to blow out a float.

If you're concerned about microplastics getting into the ocean, lakes, rivers, or even your own pool filter, do not buy this product: BigMouth Inc Giant Cotton Candy Pool Float. The product description did not include that the item was full of large pieces of iridescent glitter. Although it looked pretty, when the seam hole that was present when the item was shipped opened up through one day of use, water got inside the float and allowed these mircoplastics to leak out. Everywhere. BigMouth should invest in using vinyl with glitter inside the material rather than pumping these inflatables full of large pieces of plastic glitter. When these items spring a leak, microplastics release into whatever body of water or location the float happens to be in. Here's hoping the glitter was made out of an environmentally friendly substance. Perhaps BigMouth could respond to this review and reveal whether the glitter is biodegradable.

Would give it zero if I could. My daughter is eleven and was really looking forward to playing with this float. It came in and was really big and had lots of sparkle. I blew it up, took it to the pool and it lasted less than two hours before it busted at the seam. In a place you can’t patch no less. Now I am out a lot of money, have no float and a crying daughter.

I love floaties and cotton candy so when I saw this I had to have it. I bought the float and the matching cotton candy towel (by BigMouth). They were super cute (especially the glitter inside the float) however I left it blown up in the pool and the pink color faded immediately (so it ended up being mostly clear/ light blue) & it popped / ripped down the seam. Even though it's cute, it's not durable. I wouldn't recommend it.

Love it.. glitter inside the float is so cute.. we used thi6 for an after grad party as a decoration the gave away as a prize.. looked great and kids loved them as prizes

Bought this product and inflated it once arrived. Within 1hour sitting by the pool it was deflated. Checked for a hole and found the seam was split. Bought another one from another store and the same thing happen. Loved the float but they are poorly made.

Kids played with it for an hour and it got a hole in it. I wish manufacturers would use thicker materials and better seams. I’d be willing to pay more for something that doesn’t pop the first day.

It's sooo cute. But it's also very big and not super easy to go on top when you're already in the water haha. But it's worth it to have the coolest pool.

Totally disappointed. Sprung a leak on one of the seams first time we used it. Tried to fix it with the provided patch but it was essentially just a small square of clear tape. It was very cute for the first 30 minutes.
