Absolutely awesome for making Kimchi. At some point I'll branch out to make some other fermented foods in this container. Worked so well I bought a second one. Contains the smell well which is appreciated by my wife. Easy to clean and care for. Awesome Product.

Purchased these before. Seals in Kimchi very well while the fermentation process is happening. Ample size for a good batch. Easy to wash and good quality. Design allows for stacking.

I've been using this container for about a month to hold kimchi. It's a great size and the vacuum seal inside keeps the kimchi fresh. The only reason I didn't give it full 5 stars is the smell from the kimchi does still get into my fridge, but I think it's tough for any container to 100% eliminate that. Overall this is a great product!

These things are great, they are a little finicky to seal properly, but definitely worth the price.

I've owned two of these (I loaned one out and never got it back!) It is a well-designed, well-constructed, and easy-to-use fermenter for kimchi and sauerkraut. I love the stuff, but unfortunately my wife finds the smell of fermenting vegetables revolting, so I don't get to use it as often as I'd like.

Product quality is fantastic and simple to use. This one is too small. You would be better to get thd next size up even for making kimchee.

I've made kimchi once before having this container, and I had been disappointed by the lack of fermentation. It never got sour, it was fishy and got spicier and spicier over time. The tupper I used made the fridge smelly, too. This time I used this kimchi container, and the results were AMAZING! Admittedly I used a different recipe, but the fermentation was there! I had to burp it every so often, and the flavor was sour and so delicious! No smell at all, and a convenient size! Packing down the kimchi was easy with the way this container was set up. Overall I am VERY happy with this container! I don't make it often, and when I do I don't make much, so this size was perfect for me. I want to experiment with sauerkraut, too! Seriously, it was so successful it made me want to try other fermentation projects!! If you're thinking about it and dabbling in kimchi, GET THIS CONTAINER. You won't regret it, it's amazing!

Für mich ein must have für Kimchi. Ich stelle Kimchi selbst her und seitdem ich dieses Teil verwende, fermentiert es sehr gut, es schimmelt nichts und es läuft auch nichts über. Nicht sehr günstig in der Anschaffung aber jeden Cent wert.

I have this and a larger version of this, but this size is perfect for keeping in the fridge without taking up and entire shelf, and makes incredibly good kimchi and can go straight from starting ferment to fridge without having to do anything. Keeps smells in and kimchi crisp and tasty, and doesn’t let it ripen too fast! Really great container, I definitely want more of this size for smaller batches of pickled turnip, carrot, whatever. It fits a small Napa cabbage in quarters, or a half a larger one with the large leaves chopped.

Love this sealable container so much I bought another. Good for pickling, storing spicy or pickled items. Completely seals in strong smelling and fermented food.

Wasnt expecting it to be that small, it wont be big enough to fit just one napa cabbage ..
