First4sparesDoor Handle Lever Assembly Kit for Indesit Washing Machines

The handle was delivered very quickly - 4 days after I ordered it.I found it a bit fiddly to fit. I should have taken some photos of the old assembly before I dismantled it.There were four parts in the kit - plastic handle, spring, metal latch and steel spindle.The first problem I found was that there were a couple of rough bits in the latch casting, which prevented it from rotating on the spindle. I could have filed them off but it was easier to use the old latch which was in good condition.Then I found that the spring would not fit into the opening in the door. After several attempts I compared it with the old spring and found that the new one was wider. Fortunately the old spring was OK so I used it.No problems with the new plastic handle, which was the part that I wanted anyway. I should imagine that most people will be the same.The door now works fine so a really cheap repair.(In case you are not sure how to open the door when the handle is broken, check out the videos on YouTube. Just a piece of string and you don't even need to move the machine. I wish I had looked before I took the top of and looked inside (in vain) for a release catch!)

The spring is wildly different from the original and didn’t fit but I was able to use the old one. The handle, hook and bar are perfect. Wouldn’t recommend if your spring is broken, if it’s any other part then it’s ok.

The product arrived within 2 days, all parts present. Had to use the existing spring however as the new spring suppled was misshapen and didn't fit the door. Thankfully the existing spring was in good condition so didn't need it.

Got those to fix my Indesit washing machine door. All the parts fit well.
