Chaco Women's Juniper Sandal

I thought I was going to like these sandals and I do, actually, I love them! The souls are slightly thicker, nice traction, and more supportive than sandals you find in stores like Target, but not as high of an arch as the "Chaco Tetra" (maybe not as durable as these as well, sadly, still they are nice). The color isn't really rust, it's just an Earthy brown, exactly what I was hoping for. I would recommend these and would buy again in different colors.One problem is the 9 is a little too large and the 8 a little too small, they don't offer 1/2 sizes. So, I went for the large. When I measure my foot with a tape measure, it's 9 7/8 inches. The other problem is these are pricy for sandals, $73.99, geeze, maybe a bit of a sucker, but I'll make them last a long time! Hope the price drops for you all.

I love these shoes! Very easy to wear with dressy or casual outfits. Soft bottoms and stylish. The straps hold the sandal securely for long walks. I found that the sandal ran a little too big. I normally wear a 9.5. when I buy shoes that don't come in half sizes, I'm normally a size 10. With these shoes, I was swimming in the Size 10 shoes, but the Size 9 shoes fit perfectly. In the Size 9 shoes, the straps were in the right place and my feet are well within the footbed with no overhang.

I absolutely love these sandals. I’ve got another pair of Chaco’s that I’ve basically worn out so I needed new ones for our Honeymoon in the Baltic states. I am so glad I got these! The only issue is that you MUST close the sandal each time and open it to get them off. My old pair had elastic next to the buckle so I could get them on and off, but because these wrap around the ankle, they must be undone and done each time you wear them. I’m fine with that. What’s an extra minute putting on sandals? They are incredibly comfortable with enough support for an entire day of walking and very attractive! They also go with nearly any casual outfit!

I was wanting a sandal I could wear to work at my stand up desk without my feet feeling like I was wearing the cheap target sandals. I don’t like they way sandals with thick soles look for work so that knocked out a few brands, I was happy that these look slightly more professional. After wearing them for a few days I LOVE THEM. They fit great, have a soft foot bed, and slight arch support (though not as much as a traditional Chaco). I can wear them all day and at the end of the day my feet don’t hurt. I also like the way they look!

I have other chaco’s and this has a less pronounced arch support than most of their footbeds. But I still found this to be a very comfortable and well fit sandal. The straps keep it tight enough to my heel to keep it from rubbing, but they don’t rub blisters, not even the first wear. They broke in easily and we’re more comfortable. I agreed with the other reviewers about them wearing a bit soon, as they got a few scratches right away. But I have been wearing mine for several months of summer, mostly walking on sidewalks, some hiking on dirt paths, and they are holding up fine and bearing the scratches well. The top lining of the sole seems like the least durable, that scraped right away catching it on the pavement. But it’s under my toes so I didn’t sweat it. I would buy these again.

These sandals are GREAT! I love the brown. I have wide ankles and the ankle strap is easily adjustable and looks nice. I purchased these sandals as a semi-casual/business option to wear with sundresses. I find these sandals nice enough to wear to the office with a sundress/cardigan yet casual enough to match with a pair of cutoffs or jeans. They are SUPER comfortable! I have had huge issues with plantar fasciatus and I like that these have subtle support but are primarly low profile shoes. I find that mixing up my arch support helps keep my fascia flexible which helps me to eliminate/limit my heel pain.

I am a big fan of Chaco; I own a pair of z/volvo sandals and two pairs of their loveland sandals. I was really surprised at how big this style turned out to be, and I even have wide feet! Also, the insole seems to be made of cheaper materials than Chaco usually makes them with, but the material was squishier, so maybe that was what they were going for. Other than that, these sandals are still nice, and have that great heel sling I love about Chaco's casual sandals. I will probably order a size down and see how I like those.

Color: Rust. Color was true from moniter to shoe.....at least for me. Not too red, more brownish with a hint of red. The sandal is super cute. Not too over-the-top strappy like some sandals out there. A bit more understated than it's competition. Also very comfortable, although I don't think the sole is as durable as my "sport" Chacos. I'm still giving it 5 stars because the sole wasn't meant to do what the sport sandals do so I'm not holding anything against Chaco for that. Super cute.
