The Broken Token Game Organizer Compatible with The Dresden Files CCG

Broken Token does some incredibly well designed boxes. I have several of them at this point, and Dresden Files fit the original box perfectly.It will NOT however, fit all of the expansions, if you sleeve your cards, without removing the dividers, and in the event that Evil Hat continues to release more cards as more books are written this will become more of an issue.Keep in mind though that this is really a limitation of the box itself, not the organizer that the team at BT has put together!One last note if this is your first kit, balsa wood is soft. It breaks easy, and not all sheets of it are created equal. I found a little light sandpaper to round the edges and broaden slots helped keep cracking down and if you want a really finished look you can always use a light wood fill and stain.Super job though, as always!

I've bought and assembled a number of Broken Token organizers, and they are all either fantastic or frustrating to assemble or both. This was a little frustrating to assemble and is functional, but doesn't leave much room for growth (which will almost certainly be a problem for completists).This is designed to fit the Dresden Files Cooperative Card Game (DFCO), and it fits the base game and the three expansions which are currently available. It's a tight fit for players who sleeve their cards, though, and I have serious concerns about fitting the two expansions which are due out this summer. The organizer included several card dividers. With the currently available expansions, the cards will stand upright without use of these dividers. Once this summer hits, completists almost certainly won't be able to fit the dividers.Update 6/25/18: It DOES hold both new expansions, but, as expected, I had to remove the dividers to get them to fit. If there are any further expansions, then this insert won't cut it (but neither would the original box).This organizer has two boxes for tokens and dice and a divided central area for the cards themselves.The lids on the boxes are also crazy-difficult to open. The tight closure isn't really necessary for these lids, as they are kept closed in the (game) box by the card-holder. Realistically, there didn't need to be two boxes here. One box could have held everything and left a bit more room for the next wave of expansions.

Dresden Files has become one of our go-to games, so we figured it could use better organization, especially with all the expansions (and hopefully more to come!). Enter Broken Token. I have friends who've used their Gloomhaven model, and while this is nowhere as complicated, it just makes the game even that more delicious to play. It's so satisfying to just open the box now. The token boxes are perfectly sized to sit on the gameboard, and slide in neatly in the box. There are plenty of slots for the cards, and easily fits all the current expansions as of review date, even sleeved (I used TitanShield on these, plenty of wiggle-room). Most of the pieces pressed out easily, and only needed a little sandpaper on the breakpoints, but you could probably skip that if you're not a perfectionist. Would totally purchase more Broken Token organizers for our high-use games!

Wow. This was fun to assemble and look at all this room I still have. This is after the two most recent expansion pack releases. I am still missing one, but I know once I get it I'll still have plenty of room. I love how all the other pieces are stored as well. Great design and great product

Easy to put together, just wish i was a little more finished. Comfortably fits all current expansions, with room for more!

Simple design, easy to follow instructions, and looks and works great. Just purchased the Biohazard crate for Pandemic and it's awesome.

Easy to put together and looks great. No complaints. Wood glue helps though.
