So far so good
I purchased two of these lights. Our home is in a small mountain town so street lights aren't big here (we still have dirt roads). We put one light outside our back door and one off the back deck into the backyard. The motion sensor is very nice because it works well and the light lights up quite a bit of the area underneath. My husband and I were worried since we live in an area that gets heavy snow fall and the lights are plastic but so far they have survived two heavy snow storms and still work well. If there are changes during the winter I will update this post.Update 1/10/18: The lights have held up quite well. If there is a snow storm they work even while the snow is falling. The snow or icy haven't built up on the solar lens at all this season. I will be purchasing a couple of more of these lights to add to the garage area and the back deck. Very impressed.

I liked it so much I bought another
I caught a 'Lightning Deal' on this one, but I liked it enough that I ordered one at full price 3 days later. I have them mounted about 12 feet up, one over each garage door. They have 3 modes of operation: dusk-to-dawn (well, dusk-to-whenever-it-runs-out-of-juice) on low light, motion-detector only (comes on at full power), and low-light on-at-dusk with high power upon detecting motion. You select the mode via a small button on the front, and it flashes to confirm your selection - probably a good idea to set the mode before you're at the top of the ladder, it is BRIGHT when it flashes. I use the "mixed" mode. The low light output is nothing to write home about, but it provides a nice glow to the area.My only complaint, such as it is, is it only stays on high power for about 10 seconds or so once movement is no longer detected. But it gets extra points for having a cardboard screw/drilling template - nice touch!

Solar lighting saves $
This product is one of many I purchased on sale from amazon to light up our Panama home. Electricity is very expensive here so solar is an excellent alternative and helps us feel safer staying at our secluded home in the rainforest. We have this light situated on a high post directed at the front door (you can’t see from the angle). The light is so bright that we had to place it higher up and at a distance as it’s startling too close.Nice light. But beware if traveling abroad with SEVERAL solar lights as TSA will question what you’re up to!

it funtioned nicely. I am going to put it on top ...
works as advertized. I tried out the senser in door, it funtioned nicely. I am going to put it on top of my garage door outside. The size is good, not that big, but having enough lighting. Hope it lasts long, will see.update: The light stops working last night without warning. As it said that a defected item can be returned for exchange within one month, I emailed the the product maker about the procedure for the exchage. waiting for response, if no answer on time, will request a return.update 3/26/18: it works again after a good day with a lot of sun ligth. Will keep it for now to see how it goes.update: the product Zanflare Customer Service promptly (next day) replied my email inquery, pointed out that the light needs to be fully charged for normal fuctioning. It doest resolve the problem, the light is working now. No exchange.😊

Great Lights
Have purchased 8 of these 2 packs over past 2 years. They work very well, and are a great value. The only observation (not really a negative at this price point) I can relay to you about these lights is they don't use top quality batteries. The 18650 Li-Ion batteries packaged with these lights are not bad, but they are simply average to what other vendors package with their products that use rechargeable batteries. Of course, top quality batteries for these lights can cost as much as the lights themselves, so the fact they package batteries at all at this price is a plus. The good part about these is that they do allow you to change the batteries out so you can replace them with any you like once the batteries are no longer good. This is something that many manufacturers of not only these solar light products, but products like solar cameras, etc. seem to be steering away from which is sad in my opinion. Those that use so called "built-in" batteries that do not allow the consumer to replace them are quite the marketing ploy to get consumers to buy more of the product before the product's life cycle is over. Bad business in my opinion. So hats off to Zanflare for not following this trend. As for the product quality, it appears to be just fine. I've observed no issue with its water resistance even after a few storms. I can't speak to its cold resistance as it rarely gets below 40 degrees Fahrenheit here.

Original rating would have been a five but....
When I first got these lights I thought I had solved my major problem of living on a street without any street lights. I set it to go on at dusk and off at sun up. For a few weeks they worked very well. The problem I have is that the lights are not waterproof. After two different bouts of 4 or more days of rain the lights stop working in the rain. The first time it happened the lights worked again after the weather dried out. So far the second time it stopped working in fewer days of rain. I wish I had known that they were not waterproof.

Zanflare Rocks
Purchased two lights in January of 2018. I love the lights but one of them went into a "twilight" mode and just stayed there. I finally contacted the company and they sent me a new one. It arrived today! They're great! They really stand behind their products.

Awesome lights for the price.
Got these lights on one of Amazons daily deals. Could not beat the price for two solar motion lights. They come with hardware along with a mounting template, which makes install a breeze. Installed them in the evening, and with only about 4 hours of evening sun they were working great. The extendable solar panels are a nice touch. I did see some reviews where water did affect the lights, but we had some really heavy and I mean really heavy rains and I've had no issues at all. Would absolutely recommend these lights.

Replaceable batteries.
These light give off a good amount of light and stay on for around 30 secs on motion. They have 2 rechargeable 18650 batteries. "Need seperate charger" give them a full charge before using and have lasted me through uk winter so far. The solar panel extends which is great for capturing as much sun as possible, but without being to big. Would highly recommend these and will be looking to purchase 2 more.

you must have sunshine for these to work
I need this product at the front of my house and to work in the dark!!If the solar panels on the light get no sun they do not work for long later in the evening when you want them to work!schoolboy error on my part! I would only recommend these for sunny climes!!!!!

Totally Brilliant
These lights do exactly what they promise to do. Installation is easy, even for a DIY nightmare like me, and the light they emit is clear, bright and very effective. I'm online to buy some more. Recommended.
