This is the first time in my lifetime I now have a pet small enough to travel with me by plane.My previous pet was boarded, and it was very expensive. They were in my opinion neglected at the kennel and they came home sick and with fleas. So I swore if I ever adopted another pet, where I go, they would go too.The previous carrier I purchased to meet the airline requirements did not work well for my pet or me. Carrying a 20 pound pet and carrier was too much for both of us. I considered purchasing the wheeled cart for the carrier I had, but during my shopping for the cart, I saw this carrier. Cost wise, this carrier was the same price as just the cart for the carrier I currently had. What caught my attention was the expanding sides.My pet fit in the previous carrier, but didn’t have a lot of extra area to move around. This carrier, he is a lot more calm in it, and when I put the sides out he is able to stretch out more and move around more. Plus, it is so much easier pulling him in this carrier. I only carry him when boarding the plane and getting off.I am very happy with this purchase, and my pet is too.

I bought this for a recent trip to Cancun. My dog have never been in a grate or carrier and he went in no problem, I think he liked the cooling mat part (which is removeable too). The main reason I bought was because of the expandable part, although under the seat I wasn't able to expand it. The quality of it is top notch, it's worth every penny!

I’ve never left a one star review for anything, but this cheaply made carrier got us kicked off of our United flight because my dog was easily able to scratch through the cheap mesh and the top zipper broke when trying to close it. I had even ordered 2 other options to compare quality and comfort and this seemed like the way to go… nope. He was able to tear it so easily he even squeezed his body through and escaped in the plane cabin resulting in an embarrassing escort off of the flight. Look for a better quality one instead.

Made it much easier to transport my 20# cat for a vet appointment. Received a lot of comments about it.

I take my baby, cat, on a lot of trips and walks so I have been looking for a carrier for him ever since he grew out of his backpack carrier. He is about 12lb and fits snuggly into the carrier with enough space on all 4 sides, not extended.It was pretty straightforward to put together. The one thing I dislike is that the velcro does not really fit or line up as seen in the pictures. So I am unsure if it will stay as I have not used it yet. The base board is alright. The cardboard is a little too long for the base and the cover, so the zipper keeps bursting open. I tried with difficulty to zip it properly and was able to get it to say but not for very long. Within 5 hours, the zipper broke again. However, it's a small issue for now as the sides still zip close. The mesh on the sides are held in by velcro. Opened up, the panels seem fine though they didn't stay fully open. That might just be because they haven't been opened before. I have not had any issues with the wheels or opening and closing the handle. It is at a good height.The color in the pictures is not accurate as my phone was being stubborn. The color is true to the website, a beautiful mint green, not too bright and not too dull. It did not smell too bad when I opened the bag and once aired out, has no smell retention.My "son" seems comfortable in the new carrier and I'll update once I take it on the plane later this year.

This is one super high quality carrier, the best one I’ve owned yet. I got it for my adult cat’s vet visits, and I really like the fact that it can expand for him to be more comfortable while we’re waiting, while also giving him a good view of what’s going on around him. The detachable trolley system is what really takes this carrier up a notch. I don’t use it often because it seems a bit much for simple vet visits, but I can see how this would be a game changer for someone traveling with their animal or an elderly person who does not have the strength to carry an animal in a carrier for a long period of time. To make a great product even better, the whole thing is collapsible and can be stored away very easily to save space. The carrier itself seems very well-made, the material feels very solid and durable, and the zippers glide smoothly. I can see this carrier lasting for years to come.

Worked great for my flight

One of our cats, and the one who has the majority of vet appointments, is a bit girthy. She goes to the vet once a month for labs/chemo.While I haven't needed to use the wheels yet, I am appreciative to have them. Our cat loves the expansion, it gives her some room if we go to the vet that is 45 minutes away.This has been sturdy, it is well made, and and it is one of our carriers in our regular rotation. If I ever do travel with any of the cats, this will be the carrier that goes with us for sure!
