AC/DC - PROBLEM CHILD: THE BEST OF THE BON SCOTT YEARS THE LEGENDARY BROADCASTS 8 CD SET This amazing eight disc collection is the ultimate anthology featuring the very best of AC/DC broadcasting live on air during the Bon Scott era. These ten digitally re-mastered concerts encompass a New Year's Eve broadcast from Melbourne in December 1974 when the band were still relative unknowns; a previously unreleased broadcast from the Hippodrome, Golders Green in October 1977 - the last U.S. radio broadcast with Bon Scott in October 1979 - and a late 1979 broadcast from the Hammersmith Odeon only weeks before the tragic death of this incredible singer. Please see images for detailed track listings.

Essential Bootleg
the recording from the BBC in concert from London Hippodrome in 1977, you can see the footage of this on official DVD Plug Me In if memory serves correct, and this vinyl bootleg does not disapoint. It is on nice orange vinyl and a nice cover, and for 9.99 I am really glad I got this as an AC/DC fan since 1981. Put it straight on the stereo and sounds great, raw, loud and great live sound recorded around the release of the Let There Be Rock album, with 5 tracks features here, with some fantastic playing from Angus, great groove from the others and Phil Rudd particularly stands out. For any AC/DC fan of the Bon Scott era this is well worth the money, a bargain in fact and will definitely get some more of the Coda bootlegs. Really can't fault the packaging either apart from the fact there is no band members on there or live shots, but still, well chuffef with this slab of AC/DC history.

Budget CD set that punches above its weight.
I thought the worst when I could hear the CD's rolling about in the package, good job it was wrapped in cellophane. However once opened I was able to put the CD's back in their correct if somewhat flimsy holders. That aside I was blown away with the sound quality of the CD's which more than made up for the budget packaging. Overall it is great value for money especially if you manage to buy it when on offer. For Bon Scott fans this is a must.

Ten gigs on eight discs, brilliant.
Ten gigs on eight discs. The first disc has Bon Scott fronting the band prior to release of their first album. A bit of feedback to begin with but the sound check settles down to a good ballance. That is the only down side to the whole of the eight discs. Brilliant clear sound on each disc a fantastic collection of AC/DC on stage live and rocking the house down. The discs cover the Bon Scott era of AC/DC. Well worth the money.

Good collection of Broadcast recordings
This is a good compilation of Bon Scott era broadcasts, some of which appear to have been remastered for release. I have several of them on older bootleg files and these sound better. Nice packaging too
