This is my 3rd wireless Android Auto adapter and is the best so far.It's portable, unibody, and functional.The previous two others I had un-removable cable attached to the body and another had just too long cable to it and it was awkward to stash them in the car.This does not have such issue as it just sticks in and is a single stick, without a need for another cable.I drove over 12 hours just this weekend, and kept using this dongle without a single problem after successful connections.It kept the communication with the phone, steady and strong.I had not experienced a single drop in connection and it was smooth sailing.Still... nothing in this world is perfect.There were few issues when using this dongle.First issue is the lack of healing the connection itself.With my two other dongles, if there's an issue with the connection, like the audio doesn't play, I could just disable the WiFi on the phone, then it automatically restores the connection through Bluetooth connection.This one doesn't do that. I just have to unplug the dongle and reconnect it.Another is a common issue with the car itself.If I don't lock the car in the garage, as usual, the car powers the USB and connects my phone to it at random times. eh...The other somewhat bigger issue is firmware upgrade.Although I can go into its web UI and navigate very basic settings, all in one page, it won't let me find/download/upgrade its firmware, unlike the other two dongles I've used before this.Still, since the dongle itself is functional without a breaking bug, I give this 4 stars.

This CarPlay adapter works great and is a smaller form factor than others. No longer have to plug into a cable every time I get in and out of the truck. Pairing was easy enough. Works great without issue. Will order another for my car.

I have been tempted to get one of this wireless dongle, but because all other products that I saw was big and have cable attach to it. This one is like a USB stick, just plug in to the USB port and start using it.Pairing is super easy and quick, once you plug it in, pair your phone and you are good to go. I tested that as soon as I jump into the car, it automatically start android auto which is super sweet. Now I can remove the clumsy cable around my gear knob area, but I still need to charge my phone to prevent battery drain, I can charge it somewhere else where I don't have to deal with clumsy cable management. The one thing i notice since the connection of this dongle is to my wife's phone, so when I drive the car and my wife is in the backseat, the car has a hard time auto connecting. I need to unplug the dongle and reconnect for it to sense the phone when my wife moves to the backseat during one of our recent roadtrip, but I just need to do that once and it will auto connect after that.Something worth sharing from my experience of using this dongle in our 10 hours roadtrip. If I don't plug in my wife's phone, the image quality from the dongle is bad and also the navigation is laggy by a few seconds. But once I plug in the phone to charge, then the image quality and lagginess issue go away.Lastly is about the firmware upgrade, I tried to follow the instruction of typing in 192.168.1.101 on my phone browser, the firmware page never come up. I tried multiple times to no avail, the page just wouldn't load up for me to perform any upgrade. My only concern here is, this may cause the dongle to be not useful anymore in the near future if there's a critical update that I can't do.

This was really easy to setup. You just plug it in and then connect your phone to it hrough Bluetooth. It is a bit costly but makes it a lot easier to connect your phone to your car.

super easy to setup if your car has carplay already via USB. Plug this gadget in to the USB that is the carplay port. Make sure your wifi and bluetooth are on in your phone. The gadget will pair and you just allow the connection on your phone. Works like a charm after that. Phone connects in 5-8 seconds every time you power on the car it goes to the carplay screen displaying your phone each time. Very convenient and easy to use

So much better than having to plug in each trip

Works great for CarPlay in my car. Plugged in, connected to Bluetooth, accepted the pop up on my iPhone and it’s done.
