Great piece of kit, it's a real time saver and cuts plasterboard brilliantly.There's a straight stanley blade in the upright handle, that scores the plasterboard as you push forward on the first pass, plasterboard snaps easily at this point. (I'm using it on 19mm plank boards). Once the board is scored and snapped, a twist on the handle reveals a hooked stanley blade that completes the cut as you pull the handle back to its starting position.The are pins on the underside of the rail that hold it in place on the plasterboard, you'll be left with a couple of small pin pricks on the board afterward. By using standard stanley blades, replacements should be readily available.Only downside is that you do need to apply a fair amount of downward pressure to ensure the pins on the rail bite in, a couple of practice cuts and you'll get the measure of it.

it is to short for the trade , because it is so short you can not even cut across the width of a sheet of plaster board it needs to be at least 1m 25cm long but it is only 90cm long which means to cut across a sheet of plaster board you have to move it and reset it waste of time , quicker and easier with a level and a stanley . DO NOT BUY a total waste of time
