Ultra-Powerful Nail Polish Remover, 6.7 fl oz

This is the only nail polish remover I have ever found that takes my toe nail polish off completely and quickly so I can repaint whenever I am ready. The smell is not horrible. It makes my nails feel soft and they look shiney when I use this and just so clean.

It smells nice and removes very well. It removes not only nail polish but also paint and label marks very effectively. After using it, I like it because my finger skin doesn't get dry. I recommend this to people with dry fingers.

The Cutex Gel Nail Polish Remover truly lives up to its “ultra-powerful” claim. It quickly and effectively removes gel polish, glitter, and dark-colored nail paints, which can often be stubborn and difficult to take off. With just a few swipes of a cotton pad soaked in the remover, even the toughest gel polishes start to break down without excessive scrubbing. Compared to other removers, this formula drastically cuts down on removal time, making it ideal for those who frequently change their nail polish or use long-wear formulas. Gentle on Nails: Despite its potency, the remover is surprisingly gentle on nails. While many strong removers can leave nails feeling brittle or dry, this one minimizes that effect. After use, nails feel clean without excessive drying, which is often a common issue with acetone-based removers. For those who want powerful results without sacrificing nail health, this remover strikes a great balance. Additionally, it is paraben-free, which is a bonus for those looking for a product with fewer harsh chemicals. Ease of Use: The remover is simple to use, whether you’re soaking cotton pads or dipping your nails into the liquid for a quick soak. It dissolves glitter polishes, which are notorious for being difficult to remove, with minimal effort. This feature makes it especially useful for anyone who loves wearing textured or sparkly nail polishes. Smell: Like most nail polish removers, the product does have a strong chemical smell, which is to be expected given its acetone base. However, it’s not overpowering or unbearable, especially when compared to other strong removers. Ventilating the area by using it in an open space or near a window can help minimize the intensity of the smell. Bottle Size and Value: At 6.76 Fl Oz, the bottle size is adequate for regular use. A little goes a long way, and since the remover works so quickly, you won’t need to use large amounts at a time. This makes the product great value for the money, especially for those who frequently change their nail polish or remove gel and glitter polishes. Cons: • Acetone-based: Like many powerful nail polish removers, it’s acetone-based, which may not be suitable for individuals with very sensitive nails or those looking for a completely non-acetone option. • Drying Effect: While it’s gentler than some other removers, repeated use over time can still cause dryness or slight brittleness, so it’s important to follow up with a good hand and nail moisturizer after use.

I purchased this gel nail polish remover to take off a stubborn gel manicure at home, and it worked better than expected. The product helps break down the gel polish so it can be removed without excessive scraping or damage to the nail surface. Application was straightforward, and it began working within a reasonable amount of time. After following the instructions, the polish softened enough to gently push off with a cuticle stick. It definitely made the removal process easier compared to soaking alone or using standard nail polish remover. The scent is noticeable, as with most gel removers, but not overwhelming. I recommend using it in a well-ventilated area and following up with cuticle oil or hand moisturizer, since it can be drying to the nails and surrounding skin. One thing I appreciated is that it helped reduce the amount of time and effort needed to remove gel polish at home, saving a trip to the salon. However, results can vary depending on how thick the gel layers are and how long the polish has been on. Overall, this gel nail polish remover is a useful and effective product for at-home gel removal. It simplifies the process and gets the job done with less damage and effort when used correctly.

This nail polish is GREAT! It doesn’t smell horrible. It does work well for air-dry nails - even thick coats of glitter polish. Some of my polishes are gel air-dry polishes, and this does work well for those. I’m not sure if it would work on uv cured gel nails. It seems to evaporate a little more quickly than the original Cutex remover. I poured a small amount onto a cotton makeup pad, held the pad on each nail for 30 +/- seconds, and the wiped the polish off. I like that it works well without being so harsh on my natural nails! It arrived when scheduled. The reason for the point deduction is that the seal at the top of the bottle was glued to the bottle. I absolutely could not get it off without it tearing into several pieces. At that point, the replacement seal (under the lid) was not useable. As a result, if the bottle falls over it leaks horribly! I didn’t notice that I had knocked it over and a whole bunch of my bottle had spilled out - even with the lid tightly secured. (The 2nd photo shows how much I lost out of the bottle) I’m going to have to fold-up aluminum foil to the thickness needed under the lid to prevent the spillage. Otherwise, I would have rated this product a solid 20!

I’ve been looking for a gel polish remover that actually works without destroying my nails, and this Cutex formula is wonderful. I use it with my Sally Hansen gel nail colors, and I am so impressed with how well it performs. Unlike other removers I’ve tried that leave my nails feeling dry, brittle, or damaged, this one is much gentler. The best part is how easy it is to use—I don’t even need to soak my nails for a long time. I just saturate a cotton pad, apply it to the nail bed, and the gel polish wipes right off in just a few strokes. It’s been a lifesaver for my routine. If you’re looking for something that is effective, fast, and won’t harm your nails, I highly recommend this!

I started doing my own nails at home to save money. The removal process was honestly worse than the cost savings. Cutex remover actually cuts my removal time in half and the formula works on even the glitteriest polishes I've tried without requiring me to soak for an hour.

Works well!!! Smell is not overly strong. My old nail polish, sparkly polish, came right off!! I did not have to overly rub like with others ive used. Been letting my nails be polish free for a few days before applying a new colors and they seem healthy as i have bought plenty over the years I'm happy with the polish remover

Gets my nail varnish off perfectly first time every time it’s great.

Off course, this liquid is too expensive to remove normal nail polish with it, but if you have gel polish on your nails, it is worth that! I easily removed UV gel polish from my toes and fingers follow-through the instructions written on the bottle

I love it
