You should be able to gently steam clean a sheepskin rug by brushing with the grain of the hair. The person who said it will shrink is wrong — going from hot to cold water will shock and felt/shrink wool or using hot water and agitation will felt wool. Simply using hot steam and not agitating the sheepskin rug while it’s hot should be fine.

Pretty good little steamer.

It works pretty well, heats up super fast. My first time having a steamer and it's great for poofy balloon skirts and other items that are impossible to iron. Glad I did not go for the super cheap cheap ones. Very fast way to get the wrinkles out.
