Bought this to pump water from my hot tub and to use in the pond. Brilliant hoover. Powerful and does exactly what I need. Costs much less than a pond vac as well.

GOOD POND VACUUM!!.....the hose supplied was too short,and poor quality--it is just too thin and kept kinking so i replaced it with a better quality one--5 1/2 metres long and jubilee clipped it at both ends as it was losing suction.the trick with this vacuum is to lift nozzle out of the water as soon as the motor changes tune--indicating the tank is full......if you keep nozzle in water--it automatically switches off-then you manually have to hold the switch to on position...which is a pain!! ....it takes around a minute to fill tank,but i found that i vacuumed a section of my pond liner---then as i moved to next section-whilst lifting nozzle out of water--the tank was emptying via garden hose to my garden......this way i was able to use vacuum continuously pretty much....despite lengthening the suction hose,there was still plenty of suction to do job efficiently......i only purchased to vacuum my pond-(75ftx30ftx5ft deep)...but i would imagine this unit would be very good for dry vacuuming as well.....very good value for money,and much cheaper than the 600 quid oase pondovac 5!!! ----highly recommended...

Brilliant, only bought it to use as a pump. It pumps water out so fast. Used it to suck up water as we were jet washing and to empty a water feature.

So, this wet vac / pump seemed a great purchase at the time. But let me tell you, don't get caught out! It was sold to be as the bees knees, clean up anything. Gave it a quick go, cleaned a few dog hairs (also known as my wife), and a bit of spilled wine.So anyway, my girlfriend came over and things got out of hand. No problem though, Shop Vac to the rescue. Or so I thought. It cleaned up well, but not quite well enough for my wife not to notice.
