Great for a beginner!
I recently moved to a dark area of and was searching for an affordable telescope to stargaze with. This telescope was affordably priced and offered a good value for the money.I was presently suppressed with the shipping speed and packaging. I have yet to go out and use the telescope at night (it’s been cloudy unfortunately) but will update this review with my experience.Build Quality: Very good! The metal tripod is solid and very stable. This is extremely important with any high powered optic. The majority of the telescope is metal, with plastic pieces in the appropriate places.Image Quality: Decent for the price! I have not yet used it for its intended use, but just pointing it out the window I can see things very far away! Images are crisp, with more blurring the further out you go. The included spotting scope is useful, but I had better luck zooming the actual telescope out to find things.Kid Friendly: This is a great product for introducing children to astronomy. With proper adult supervision, I see this telescope lasting a long time. Remember that it’s an instrument, not really a toy. The phone mount included is great touch!Ease of Use: There is some setup out of the box. Luckily the included instructions make putting it all together a breeze. There is a very large focus adjustment knob on both sides of the unit, so left handers and right handers will be pleased.Portability: I was presently surprised by the included carrying bag. The canvas material is high quality and looks water resistant (I wouldn’t submerge it though).Final Thoughts: Don’t expect Hubble Telescope levels of images. This is a great starter telescope. It would make an amazing gift for the young star grazer of friend that enjoys space exploration.I would recommend this product!UPDATE: Finally had a clear night and full moon! Image quality is great IMO. Photos captured using the included phone mount and older iPhone. They were taken with the higher power 10MM eye piece.

Great telescope for the price
This telescope is really good for its price and I would definitely recommend buying it. This is my first telescope and I am loving it. It was easy to assemble and even easier to use and adjust. It comes with different lenses that let you zoom at different levels. It’s definitely very portable and comes with a carry bag too. Overall a good buy for the price.

Great Telescope! Really impressed with how much detail it brought out in the moon!
I've used telescopes before but this is the first one I purchased for myself. I'm very impressed with the build quality of the scope and tripod for the price! Huge plus that it comes in a case that protects it and even has a smaller case for the lenses you are not using. These details matter and I think make this a great first telescope for anyone.I purchased this telescope right before a big meteor shower in hopes of using it that evening, but unfortunately there was too much cloud cover. I was able to take it out the next evening and quickly zero in on the moon. I was impressed by how easy it was to find the moon in this telescope by using the spotting scope and then as I changed the lenses to increase magnification I honestly could not believe how much crystal clear detail I could see with this telescope! Amazing to see the craters in such detail. As a bonus, there are phone mounts included. I didn't do much with these but I will try them out next time I set it up.I would recommend this telescope to anyone looking for one to get started!
