Good Business AP, Cloud Management, Decent Quality
So I'm going to start by saying I like direct control over everything I'm doing with my Wireless APs. This doesn't give me that option. The system is designed for a centralized management platform, cloud based, through Aruba Networks / HP Enterprise. It works well, but it's not something I prefer for my personal network. That said, the system isn't difficult to use. And, if you're providing remote management of multiple networks, it's not a bad way to do it.Form factor and design is nice - I like that I can set it on a desk, mount it to a wall, etc. I'm not happy that it didn't come with the POE injector or power supply, but reading the manual shows that they have a model that ends in P that does include the power source.I like that I can set it up and add up to four devices on the ports under the AP for a Computer, VoIP phone, etc. Two are POE based, which I tested with my POE camera to see how well it worked. Overall, it seemed stable.I tested adding multiple SSIDs to see where the limit was. I stopped at 9 because I thought it was overkill at that point. Speedtests with my Dell Latitude 7390 using a WiFi 6 card were on-par with what I'd expect. The biggest thing I don't like is the cloud-based management. It requires you to have the AP internet-connected, and I'm not a big fan of that being a requirement. The other complaint was the lack of a power supply, but as indicated that's because I didn't get the 'P' model.Overall, I'd consider this for installation on customer sites, but it's not for my own network.

Decent Access Point Device
After struggling to find a power source for the wireless access point, things got better. Setting it up was easy and the app is user friendly. The range this device offers is good and better than what I currently had.

The nicest access point with the most features by far!
Just tossed my last unreliable ubiquiti and so glad I just switched to HPE Aruba! Love the many different power options, comes with a built-in 4-port switch and DHCP router, has huge decibel range (full bars at almost 90ft away), Aruba's instant on smartphone app works flawlessly, Love how they include three different mount options with screws for different types of surfaces and really like HPs network tech support is great with either phone or chat options.

I'm sure it's great, but, it's a scavenger hunt to find the power source
There were no items in the package that were missing or damaged. I'm sure it's great, but, it's a scavenger hunt to find the power source. The manual doesn't help in any regard. The unit itself indicates 48V 1A, and the seller description states S1U75A. Well, that didn't help. So, I search on Amazon for "Aruba instant on power source S1U75A" and it brings up "Aruba Instant On 12V Power Adapter with US and EU Plugs | Cord not Included (R9M78A)". Except, it's a 12V adapter, not 48V, and it doesn't indicate how many amps. The details state: The Aruba Instant On 12V power adapter is used to power Aruba Instant On APs: AP11, AP12 AP15, AP22, and AP25. However, what I have is the AP22D, so I have not clue if it will work or not. It also costs about 1/5th the cost of the unit itself, and DOESN'T EVEN COME WITH A CORD! The cord you MIGHT have to get is R9M78A, but I couldn't find it online. HOW THE HECK AM I SUPPOSED TO USE THIS WHEN I CAN'T FIND A POWER SOURCE FOR IT!? Until I figure out how to power it up, which might cost quite a bit, it's just an expensive paperweight.
