EKOMirage Sensor Bin 45L, Metal, Matt S/S, 27 x 46 x 65.5 cm

Wonderful, very useful bin. Bought this to replace one I previously had for about ten years. Love theses bins, hands free and has worked well. Only irritation is the way that it can open apparrently randomly, only to find a fly has triggered the lid. Would heartily recommend.

My first order of mirage X 80L didnt arrive and it was automatically refunded. So i purchased 45L again. I was excited that it finally arrived however, It arrived with a big dent on the side 😕 i have to return this.. i am so disappointed with Eko 😕

Seems like a very good bin (as you'd hope for given the price!), but unfortunately I had to return it because even though it fit underneath the overhang of our kitchen worktop the sensor got confused and thought you were holding your hand over it (where in fact it was the worktop).Pros:* Good size (I was replacing a 42 litre Dihl, and this 45 litre bin appeared to be at least 1.5x the actual capacity... go figure!)* Removal plastic liner ("inner bin") to make it easier to clean* Smooth quiet action for the bin lid motor* Clear display so you know when it plans to close the lid (it has 5 LED dots that stay lit whilst it detects you, and counts down about 1 second apart once it detects that you're gone)* Manual override open/close buttons, including staying open indefinitely (until you press 'close') if you press the 'open' button* Sensor "touch" buttons, which I presume would be easier to clean and avoid mechanical wear associated with "click" buttonsCons:* On/Off switch for the bin lid is inside the lid (you need to remove it before you can turn it off, which risks it might open whilst you do so... seems unnecessary risk of damage to the motor, e.g. if the lid is against your body/other surface at the time!)* Sensor detects an object within range, not motion. That probably makes sense (allows it to stay open whilst you hold a plate over it or whatever), but it had a side effect that you can't place it into a confined space (in fairness there was only about 1cm clearance above the lid when open).If you're still undecided after reading my review, note that I am replacing it with the 30 litre model (which is slightly shorter)... but keep in mind my opinions expressed are based on 5 minutes of "test" usage only before I reluctantly had to return/exchange.

Der EKO Mirage Sensor Mülleimer mit 45 Litern Volumen ist einer der mit Abstand besten automatischen Mülleimern , welchen wir bisher hatten.Das Gehäuse mit Eimer und Deckel ist hochwertig gearbeitet, die Öffnung ist wirklich groß und dadurch sehr praktisch und die Oberfläche ist trotz Edelstahl recht unempfindlich.Was mir besonders zusagt ist die Sensorelektronik des Deckels mit der LED-Leiste, nach dem Öffnen sieht man an der LED-Leiste wie die Zeit vor dem Schließen herunter läuft und der Deckel öffnet und schließt sich fast Lautlos und bleibt bei einem Hindernis direkt stehen.2 kleine Ideen an den Hersteller, Räder wären klasse und 2 Griffmulden an der Seite toll.Wir sind auf jeden Fall von dem Mülleimer begeistert und können ihn jedem, welcher einen etwas größeren Mülleimer benötigt, empfehlen.

Nutze den Mülleimer nun schon eine ganze weile und bin super zufrieden. Ich habe sogar den passenden Müllbeutel gefunden (nach nur einem Fehlkauf). Ich habe den Pely 60L Abmessung 68 x 73 cm gekauft. Mein Wunsch für diese Produkt ist "hoffentlich hält die Technik lange". Falls die Automatik am Deckel kaputt geht melde ich mich wieder.
