I loved this book....easy to read with quick good references of all you need to know of Your Newfi. With lots of good advice, if your thinking of adding the amazing Newf to your family. Also the photos are wonderful photos, of all different types of the Newfoundland....Thanks to the author,...just great!!! Gracie Lou

Having owned a newfoundland and now looking for a new puppy - was quite interesting but was really looking for deeper information on everything in general.Was very basic.

A reasonably priced book. It has lots of general information, but I always felt like I wanted more detail. It mentions that the different colours have different personality traits, but goes no further than that.There are details about showing and working classes, but this is all for the American market.Overall an OK book, but if you are living in the UK, maybe a different book maybe more appropriate. I'm going to purchase one.

Purchased this book for friends who have 2 new foundland puppies, very informative and useful.

This book was an interesting, short, light read. It gave a broad, but thin coverage of the topic. It would be a good basic book to generate interest in the breed, but it leaves one seeking a significant amount of specific information.

This book is good if you are getting a Newfy puppy, unfortunately it wasn't quite the thing I was after for a adult rescue Newfy.
