YES , You can Comfortably-Sit while Using this Stand, As Long as You have Something Comfortable to Sit-On.

Q: How long has this stand lasted for you and will this work with a vic firth practice pad that's 6 inches?

We have had it for almost a year. And it has lasted for a 10 year old boy pretty well. I am not sure if it will work for a 6 inch or not. It should say in the description.

Q: Will this stand hold bells as well if they have the same connector as my Remo pad?

from a band director: if the connector bolt is the same size as the hole threaded in your bell kit, this will work, but this stand lacks the horizontal supports and will wear and bend under the significant leverage of the bell frame. I would get a stand made specifically for the bell kit. This stand is best suited for use with practice pads. It is a dream for that, but only that.
