DeLonghi CTO2003W De'Longhi 2-Slice Toaster, White

This is a wonderful toaster! I didn't really need a new toaster, just wanted one after we redid our kitchen. I hesitated to spend so much for a toaster when so many are cheaper than this one, but the build quality made my decision. Just compare the weight of this toaster vs. other cheaper toasters that weigh much less. (I also realized that I'd spent about $45 for my old toaster almost 25 years ago). This looks sharp sitting out on our counter and it's solidly built. It perfectly toasts our white or rye bread in 2 minutes on a setting of just slightly above 3. The white finish on the sides is a very pretty pearl type paint. We are totally happy with it so far.

first off ,was instructed to remove sticky label from top of toaster before using. Impossible to completely remove sticky substance under label . Neitehr detergent , water nor nail polish remover worked. Housing became too hot to remove toast without burning fingers as toast not sufficiently elevated above top when done. Also uneven toasting. 4 stars for entertaining looks. O stars for function. ALso way overpriced. DO NOT BE SEDUCED by looks as I was. michael de L. NYC

This toaster is very cute but does not come with cover featured in picture. I returned mine because on a lower setting of 2 one side was correct and other side was burned. I never did test bagel or other features, just felt it wasn't worth the big money for being cute. Also to those looking for a White/White toaster this one is slightly creamy white and not bright white like Cuisinart. PS sticker came off very easily, there was no need for goo gone or nail polish remover like other review said.

Beautifully made. Cool retro design. Only complaint is, it often does not toast evenly.

This is a gorgeous toaster that looks fantastic on your countertop. That's about as far as it goes. If you are looking for evenly toasted toast, this ain't it. I'm kind of a toast fanatic, tolerant, but fanatic, and this doesn't even come close to satisfying my need for a golden brown crunchy toasted bread. The top of the bread gets most of the heat, and consequently gets more golden brown. I definitely do not recommend this toaster.

This toaster continues to deliver, even after months of use. It looks great and works great!!

Don't buy it. The toaster doesn't toast my bread evenly. In addition, the crumbs somehow always spill out from the bottom- even with the crumb tray in place. Everyday I find myself lifting up the toaster and wiping up crumbs from the countertop.
