UPDATE:After 2 weeks of use, the selector & start buttons quit working. Attempting to return it (& it's instruction pamphlet) to Amazon even though I had discarded the box it came in after 3 or 4 successful uses.It may be considered a little bougie to have a little uni-tasker just to make a fried egg, but considering that I like an occasional fried egg, I like this little guy. Most of the time when I fry an egg it somehow turns into a scrambled egg.This device is easy to use, just give it a little shot of spray oil, or a dab of butter, add the egg, close the lid, select the doneness you desire & press the start button. A few minutes latter, you've got a pretty nice looking fried egg, and it's just the right size for a breakfast sandwich.

It's really convenient for cooking eggs without messing up the stove. I like my eggs over hard, so I put it on the highest setting. It's been working out great for me. Works great with scrambled eggs too - it makes what looks like a fritata when I ad cheese and oregano.

I purchased this mainly for an over medium style egg. But, I also intend to use it for bagel with eggs.I used the 1/2 runny yolk setting to fry 3 eggs. The first one, cooked without preheating, turned out a bit more done than I expected. The next two were nearly perfect and the result was consistent. I suspect preheating the cooker without an egg might give the best results for all three eggs.I only sprayed oil onto the bottom surface for the first egg, and all three came out easily with the provided tool.I am happy with the results, the ease of use of the device, and the build quality. The only reason I gave it four stars was the price. It seems a bit expensive for what it does. It will be money well spent if it continues to cook eggs consistently.

For now I'm going to leave a 5 star review, not because it's perfect, but because there isn't another product that does this.If you want to fry an egg with an appliance that has a set it and forget it feature, this is your only option. And for that, it automatically gets 5 stars.Here are some little improvements that can be made to make this product better:- The plastic spatula is sad, would've been better if the heating surface could come off with a handle or something to allow for easy transfer- The settings just change the timer, it doesn't actually flip the egg, so every egg is just sunny side with various hardness, kind of misleading setting labels- Texture is a bit different from a frying pan, top is smooth bottom has that rough layer- Really expensive for what it isBut yeah, I use this a lot so for now, 5 stars until someone else makes something better

Great product!! perfect size as it does not take up much space . A Good variety of settings from which to select from to make your egg(s).At first I was apprehensive as too how well it would cook the eggs and it did perfect , after almost a dozen eggs there was nothing wrong with any , and they all came out like the setting I selected.Hyvance needs to make a two egg cooker version of this .I do like just adding egg select how you want egg done press start and just wait for the beep.
