KRK RP5G5 ROKIT 5 Generation Five 5" Powered Studio Monitor Pair

I’m very happy with these studio monitors. The sound quality is clear, powerful, and well balanced, making them great for producing music, recording, and mixing. They look great on my setup and have a professional design. The size is perfect for a home studio, and they deliver plenty of sound without taking up too much space. For the price, I’m very impressed with the quality. Definitely recommend these speakers for anyone building a home studio!

I got the previous gen (4) in November 2024 and one of the power supplies failed a year later (dried out cap) so I gave that to a buddy of mine who likes to fix things, and upgraded to this gen. They seem marginally cleaner, and make things on YouTube sound ever so slightly worse, which I take as a sign of increased fidelity. (Studio monitors should reproduce mistakes with the same fidelity as anything else, and not paper over them. That's the whole point.) There are better monitors out there at a significantly higher price point. These are more "prosumer" grade, you get what you pay for. If you want to hear more mistakes, get a better set. These go very well with the KRK S10.4 powered sub, which is another good buy, very transparent. I would say look at the size of the room you're going to use, get the right size of speakers (5" is right for my room but maybe not for yours), and get a matching sub (which is also room-dependent.) Don't bother buying these without a matching sub, ideally from KRK. With no sub they're just casual listening devices, and there are better options for that. With a standard "fun" sub they're useless for audio production, as regular subs always color the audio in ways that go against critical listening. If the 5" is right for your room then the S10.4 is likely the right subwoofer as well. Run your audio through the sub to your monitors. Let the sub do the crossover. If you have a treated room and want something better for serious work, I'd look at getting something better than these. They have built-in DSPs and can compensate for various room geometry, but they're not upscale. If you're really serious and have the money, I'd look at Tannoy or something similar that goes beyond the "prosumer" level.

Love these speakers! Very loud and clean sound.

I had a small Presonus set but they eventually died, so I got the Rokit 5s. They sound great and look nice, although they dontake up a little more space on the desk.

The build quality the speakers is amazing. The sound quality is really good and loud. I can hear crisp bass mids, and highs perfectly. Though the cost is a little bit high. I think it’s worth spending a little bit more for a good quality product. -DJ Rizzle

Rokit monitors are top notch. This pair I'm using in my bedroom. I only wish I could shut off that panel logo light. It's amazing how bright such small lights can be when you're trying to sleep! :-D

Very good small speakers. Sound very good, you can adjust EQ for each speaker. Me i am satisfied and speakers do the job i needed.

Ho acquistato le KRK RP5G5 ROKIT circa qualche mese fa e sono rimasto estremamente soddisfatto dalla qualità audio che queste casse offrono. Come monitor da studio, mi hanno davvero sorpreso per la precisione e chiarezza del suono, che le rende perfette per la produzione musicale, il mixaggio e il mastering, o anche più semplicemente per ascoltare in modo decente della buona musica HI-RES. Le alte frequenze sono cristalline, i bassi sono potenti ma ben bilanciati, e la resa midrange è dettagliata e naturale, il che le rende perfette anche per lavori vocali o strumentali. Nonostante la loro dimensione compatta da 5 pollici, la risposta in frequenza è sorprendentemente ampia, e riesco a percepire ogni dettaglio anche durante sessioni di ascolto prolungate. Il design è elegante e robusto, con un'ottima costruzione che riflette la qualità professionale di KRK. Le connessioni XLR sono stabili e sicure, mentre le manopole posteriori per il controllo dei bassi e delle alte frequenze permettono di adattare il suono in base alla propria stanza o preferenze personali. Il connettore di alimentazione è solido e non causa mai problemi durante l'uso. Un altro aspetto che mi ha colpito positivamente è la potenza: nonostante le dimensioni contenute, le RP5G5 riescono a riempire la stanza con un suono pulito e privo di distorsioni anche a volumi elevati. Sono perfette per ambienti di produzione di dimensioni medie o piccole, dove l'accuratezza sonora è fondamentale. In conclusione, le KRK RP5G5 ROKIT sono monitor da studio eccezionali, che offrono un suono bilanciato e preciso, perfetti per chi cerca monitor di qualità senza svuotare il portafoglio. Se sei un producer, un sound designer o un appassionato di musica, queste casse sono una scelta eccellente!
