18V Lithium-Ion 8Ah Replacement Powerful Battery Compatible with Bosch18V Cordless Tools for GBA18V-80

We bought this battery recently for a Bosch leaf blower we have. Man it works GREAT. It provides enough power for this leaf blower (which is quite strong) and it lasts a good long while. Very pleased with this battery and will buy another one soon.

One of the most important factors of a battery is their life expectancy, which is hard to review. That being aside, this battery seems nearly identical to OEM. You can see in the photos an OEM 8.0Ah battery by Bosch on the right and this generic one on the left. Mine came fully charged already. It attached and functions the same as the OEM. In terms of power, I didn't see any noticeable difference between the two when used with a drill (I only have Bosch drills and drivers to test with). They seem to weigh the same amount - I couldn't differentiate between them, but I didn't put them on a scale either. We'll see how long they hold up, but happy to have a spare at 1/3 of the cost!

I have owned and extensively used a Bosch 18 V drill for what seems like twenty years. It has served me well, even though it came with only (a pair of) 1.3 Ah batteries. Since I had a pair, I could generally complete any project by keeping one of them in the charger while I was using the other one. This LUJENAN 8 AH battery should have the capacity of seven of my other batteries and relieve any worry about running out of juice. It fits my drill and charger perfectly although it is, of course, much heavier than the 1.3 Ah batteries. That will not normally be a problem, plus I still have the smaller capacity, lighter batteries if my arm gets tired. An OEM Bosch 8Ah battery sells for about $150 so $63 for this LUJENAN battery is a good deal if you need that much battery capacity.

Tried to upgrade old battery but can’t use in Bosh 18v cordless circular saw

I have a 20v bauer 1/2" rotary hammer; with the bauer to bosch battery adapter, removed about 18' x 6" x 1" swath of very hard stucco and never had a power drop. This was pretty HEAVY use for about 45 minutes. Chuck on the hammer was hot most of the time. I also used it in my small bosch recip saw on the same charge. Very happy for the battery performance two tools; totally worth it. At the end, there was 1 bar left, but was still going strong.However, it does not fit the bosch circular saw, which is a bit of a bummer, so I knocked a star off. Also, the battery indicator lights don't always work when you hit the button...but that's a minor complaint.

Nearly identical to my bosch 6ah batteries, both in looks and in weight. There's no way this is actually rated for 8ah, as generics are known to heavily inflate amphour claims. Even if it's only good for 4Ah though, I'll consider it a decent deal considering the genuine 6ah batteries retail for $150...I've been using this with my bosch 18v miter saw. I've yet to run out of power doing miscellaneous cuts, and I haven't really felt it bogging down due to lack of power. At least for my uses, this is a good substitute for the genuine battery.

Build QualityThe battery is solid, made with high quality plastic, and has a good weight. The battery meter and release switch both work well.UseThis battery works on bosch tools. I use it on my Chameleon driver and it works well just like OEM with no change in performance. The battery life seems to be true (8AH) based on initial testing and LED light status. I used this for a large project and it only lost one bar whereas my typical battery would be nearly depleted. It charges in the OEM charger with no issues.Final thoughtsThis is a high quality battery that I recommend.

Fits my drill driver and works good. Fully charged with the original charger without any issues.
