Highly recommend worth the money.
Wiring took a bit. My own fault. Love this product can't say anything bad about it. If you follow directions correctly. its a simple install. Works great....

Good unit
This is a great unit, for the most part wasn’t too tough to install on my Yamaha Stryker. Love that I don’t need to use the key to start it. I set it to where I just push the button on the FOB and then turn the kill switch only. The downside for me is that it drains the battery. I don’t know why either.

Tempermental
I had this installed on my '13 F-150. I love the auto lock/lock feature and push button start, but that is where my love affair ends and my misery begins. If you are working around the truck, it constantly locks/unlocks. The truck will unlock and if someone opens a passenger door before I open the driver door, it is likely to set the alarm off. If I'm busy unloading the cab and go to different doors, even though it is unlocked, the alarm will go off. Can't tell you how many times I've walked up to the driver door, it has unlocked, I open the door and it immediately begins a warning that the alarm is going off, so, I have to jump in and crank it up so it will not set off alarm. Recently, I completed a drive, put the truck in park, shut off the engine and the alarm went off. MADDENING!! Save your money and buy another product.

Shuts off while driving
I bought this in 2012 and I never had to use the button to start until 2018 when the battery in the fob died (you have no way of knowing the battery is going dead) When I tried the program button to start the car it did not work, when I contacted Digital Guard Dawg they said if I had an electrical spike it would damage the unit so that would not work. I had to pay to have that repaired and after I installed the unit it would cut off for a split second every time I drove the car until one time it shut off for about 30 seconds and when it came back on my MSD shift light flashed the light which it only does when you power it on and it was hooked to one of the outputs of the ignition box. I put my key ignition back in and have not had any more problems. They tested the ignition box and said there was nothing wrong and said it must be a wiring problem. I informed them that all I did was disconnect the plugs out of the box when I sent it in for a new board back in 2018 and it was not shutting off until I got it back with a new board. I also informed them the wiring was correct as I am a master electrician and have a degree in computer electronics. I have wired 3 cars completely from front to back with no problems. I told them not to send it back, just throw it in the trash where it belongs.

Works
Application is a 2004 FXD. It has the key under the seat, and is a PITA to use. Stupid design!Installation involved placing the unit under the seat, which is not easy here because of all the junk already there. You can get it in, but if you also put in LED signals et cetera, you have a lot of little boxes you are cramming in there.Unit was well packaged, and the instructions are simple and clear. I did not follow them (all). I did not want to turn the engine kill-switch into the bike-on switch. I removed the stock ignition switch, and replaced it with a waterproof toggle switch. I then hooked the DGD to the ignition switch leads as directed, and the leads to the kill-switch went to the toggle switch. The bike is pretty basic, so there are no accessories – so I did not use the accessories options. So now I sit on the bike, reach down and flip the toggle switch under the seat to on, flip the kill-switch to run, and start it up. Very little re-learning from the old way. The stealership has problems when they try to do service work or inspections, but ….I find that the fob can be several metres away from the bike, and it still starts. If you are walking around nearby, then some one can take your bike. On the other hand, I stop for a quick gas-n-go and the bike will not power-up until I stomp the ground a couple of times to trigger the fob motion sensor in my pants-pocket. If you are sitting and drinking coffee, you are protected. It works for me.My problems with the unit? First were the crimp connectors, which I had to go back in and solder because they came loose. Much profanity involved – but hot-wiring is easy. I should have known better. The second is that the unit seems to draw about 30mA of current continuously. If you ride every day, it is not noticeable. Over two weeks, however, the total draw will pretty-much kill your battery. My solution is to pull the main fuse when I park it for a period. It looks stupid, but it works – and is easy. I suppose that I could bitch continuously to DGD, and might get a replacement – and then I have to put it in again. Pulling the fuse is not enough of a pain to be worth any of that hassle.Every inspection, I put a new 377 battery in the little watch that is glued to the front brake reservoir, and two CR2032s go into the fob. It doesn’t need them that quickly, but it is worth it to avoid any profanity.Overall – I love it.

Great quality, better customer service.
I'm extremely happy with this product so far. I just got it installed last night. The harness itself exceeded expectations by having a nice mesh wire cover for great looking wire runs. I will say that I had a difficult time with installation. It took me three evenings to get it going. Although I'll admit that I should not have tried to replace both the starter button and run/stop switch in parallel with the kit. The extra variables made it difficult to troubleshoot. I'll also say that while the included directions were good, but they left out a key component that caused a lot of trouble. What makes me give this product 5/5 is the customer support. I called twice a day for 3 days straight. Ed was helpful about everything and encouraged me to keep calling until we figured it out. Buy this product, it's worth the price of you hate fumbling your keys out of your jacket pocket as much as I do.
