Hearth & Garden SF40221 Patio Chair Cover

EXCELLENT ! I am very pleased with these patio chair covers. I previously had some covers from Lowes that last a season or two. 2 of the 4 previous covers had big tears in them and became brittle to the touch with the thin plastic material. I almost bought more of the same covers from Lowes but they only had 1 on shelf and I needed 2, so I found these on Amazon, Upon receiving I noticed the superior quality of these Hearth & Garden covers, the material is much thicker and softer and fits my patio chairs nicely. I initially needed 2 for my set of 4 which has 2 with tears and I immediately ordered 2 more after seeing how much better these are and they are also at least 25% less cost so it's a win win situation, i HIGHLY recommend these covers

Just got 4 of these today, quickest ship ever! They are nice and heavy and seem to be of good quality. A little bigger than I thought they would be and a little too roomy for my chairs but I couldn't find anything else the dimensions I needed. The velcro tabs should do the trick and secure them in case of Santa Ana winds, we also tuck the chairs tightly under the table so that will help keep the covers in place. Of course the real review won't come until after they have suffered rain and wind this winter, however, we live in San Diego so I think they will hold up fairly well in our moderate climate. I thought the price was really good for the quality. Also the Amazon site was priced better than some other sights I checked for the same item. Nice neutral tan color.

Bought a pair of these some years ago and they held up well. Over time, the seams became less waterproof (the holes where the stitches passed through were more open, I think), Unlike other products, the material itself has held up to the rigors of the seasons and not torn. So I purchased a second set, which look nice and sturdy. The old ones are still fairly waterproof and I will continue to use them somewhere else.

I've had these patio chair covers for a couple months now and they are holding up extremely well. They are lightweight but don't let that fool you! 2 years ago I bought very expensive, much heavier weighted patio chair covers and they did not hold up well at all! They were so badly tattered and torn that I returned them to the mass merchandisers store where they gave me credit for them as they saw how poorly they had held up.

Haven’t had this cover for very long. It fit my chair fine. Seems to be a good weight and covered the chair completely. It hasn’t been through a big storm yet but I’m pleased with this purchase.

Bought five in October 2015...two of them ripped this month and the covers had become very brittle and faded in the San Diego sunlight. So apparently they only last about a year, but they don't cost very much either. Did a great job of keeping my cushions clean and dry, so I just bought new set. Kind of nice to get completely new covers, actually, so I don't have to worry about the bird doo and stains that had accumulated over the 12 months - I get to start fresh!

I've had a set of these under the blazing sun of So.FL for about 4 years before they showed signs of fatigue. This includes many wash downs with my power washer to keep them looking fresh, In my judgement that's a great service life for the environment, On top of that, you can't touch this quality for twice the price at local patio goods stores. All in all, I highly recommend these.

I bought four of these chair covers two years ago and I think they've about reached the end of their useful life. They're starting to get very brittle and are tearing. They did a good job of keeping the cushions dry and I suppose they've held up fairly well considering that they're 100% exposed to the weather all year. I don't have an awning, so my patio gets the full brunt of rain, snow, and sun. I wish I could find something that would last longer, but that's probably unrealistic. These fit my chairs perfectly and are affordable, so I'll likely be re-ordering a new set. I might try scotch-guarding the new ones to see if that helps extend their life.I would think that if you're using these on a covered patio, you'd get many years out of them. The cloth outer shell is a thick canvas and they are lined with vinyl inside. I don't see any seam wear at all. I just think the sun takes its toll on that vinyl lining.

It fits my chair perfectly, and keep the rain out. Thank you.
