Exceptional barista-quality espresso anywhereโa masterpiece of engineering!
If you take your espresso seriously and hate compromising on coffee quality when you are away from home, the WACACO Nanopresso is an absolute revelation. Whether you are working a grueling 12-hour shift, camping off-grid, or just stuck in a hotel room with sub-par instant coffee, this tiny pocket-sized device delivers a rich, authentic espresso that rivals expensive countertop machines. โWhy this portable machine gets a solid 5 stars: โGenuine 18 Bars of Pressure: Don't let the size fool you. Thanks to a patented pumping system, this compact machine can reach a massive 18 bars (1.8\text{ MPa}) of stable pressure. That is higher than many domestic electric espresso makers, and it shows in the cup. โIncredible Crema: The proof is always in the pour, and the Nanopresso delivers a beautifully thick, hazelnut-coloured crema every single time. The extraction is smooth, full-bodied, and captures the true tasting notes of your chosen coffee beans. โErgonomic & Easy to Pump: Compared to the older Minipresso model, the Nanopresso requires 15% less force to pump. It feels incredibly sturdy in the hand, and the pumping action is smooth, reliable, and doesn't leave your hand aching. โCompact & Lightweight Travel Essential: It is incredibly short (just over 15cm) and weighs practically nothing. It tosses effortlessly into a backpack, kit bag, or glove box without taking up premium space. โClever, Hassle-Free Cleanup: Every single component easily detaches for a quick rinse. The internal design has been massively improved to prevent coffee grounds from getting trapped in tight corners, meaning it takes less than a minute to wash down and pack away. โTop Tip for Perfect Extraction: โFor the absolute best results, make sure you use a fine, consistent grind and tamp it firmly into the basket. Also, taking 30 seconds to pre-heat the Nanopresso by running a quick cycle of plain boiling water through it before adding your coffee will keep your espresso piping hot! โFinal Verdict: This is a phenomenally engineered bit of kit. It completely eliminates the need for electricity or battery chargingโall you need is boiling water and your favorite ground coffee to enjoy a world-class espresso. It is rugged, reliable, and worth every single penny for anyone who treats coffee as an essential part of their day. Highly recommended!

Handy manual espresso machine.
Great little espresso machine. Used it every day during hikes in Picos de Europa. Great to have a fresh espresso in the middle of nowhere. Easy to clean, quick to make coffee, the only minus you need properly hot water for coffee to be very good. I had a flask with hot water so later the day when water was cooler the taste was just mid.

Perfect espresso on the go
We use the WACACO Nanopresso Portable Espresso Machine on the road and for motorcycle camping, and it is brilliant. It is compact, lightweight, and easy to use, making it perfect for travel. Despite its size, it makes a really good espresso and gives us a proper caffeine boost wherever we are. A must-have for anyone who doesnโt want to compromise on coffee while travelling.

nice starter device -expensive
this ia great starter device but liek me you will want the extras. it does what it says on the tin. it comes with a bag which is good to not need the case. the samll cup is okay but i tned to use a glass for my coffee. It makes a ristretto sized espresso. great for core coffee lover but not great if you want more. i can buy the double size water thing its ยฃ35 more. i also got the large case for the nespresso attachemnt. overall its nice, easy to use but way over hyped and a bit on the costly side.

Lowk good
Was apprehensive at first thinking it wouldnโt be able to make proper espresso and was likely to emulate an aeropress however used it for the first time today and it pulled such a great smooth shot that i couldnโt be happier with it!

Portable nanopresso machine
Bought to use at work on weekends. Worth the money, it's not too heavy so easy to take with me, so far the coffee I've used has all tasted good but I don't think that is anything to do with the machine. It doesn't leak out during use and it doesn't take long to use. I bought the coffee pod to use with it as well which is very good.

The best innovative product i have bought in the last 10 years! a REAL ESPRESSO everywhere!
This is undoubtedly the best product I have purchased in recent years! I am Italian but I have been living abroad for several years! as an espresso enthusiast, I always find myself looking for a way to drink a good coffee, and it's not that easy! So I mostly drink coffee at home, and I've always had expensive espresso machines that require a lot of maintenance (and that my roommates have broken several times). I was very skeptical when I bought my first nanopresso, and it was mostly with the idea to take it when I go camping. Now after 2 years that I own it and the only espresso machine I use. I live with 7 roommates and now they all use my nanopresso, I swear this machine will make at least 15-20 coffees a day for 2 years now! I am completely in love with this device! This is the 3 I buy, and it is a gift for my father, but I was forced to buy a second one for me to take with me on trips because now if I take the one I keep at home, away from my roommates, they cry and complain as if I had stolen their soul .. .haha .. I find that the machine expresses its full potential associated with the barista kit. Double coffee baskets for some reason allow you to reach the optimum pressure and the coffee is even creamier ... nothing less than a coffee in the bar with a professional machine when you take your hand! surely there is a learning phase before having the best results. My advice is not to overfill the baskets, press well but leave a little more of the edge uncovered than you would tend to do. Use coffee ground for a house coffee machine. (the grind used for professional machines is a bit too thin, the one for a house espresso machine is perfect!) The best cheap coffee you can find word wide is Lavazza qualita Rossa and Lavazza crema e gusto....they give excellent results with the nanopresso. Also, pump slowly. After doing about ten pumps when you feel the machine going under pressure and the first drop comes out, pause for a few seconds and then start pumping slowly in order to keep the flow constant (press slowly, release faster). A double coffee takes about 25-30 seconds for optimal extraction. The result is spectacular! Thanks, Wacaco! I don't know what I would do without you! Ah, the customer service is super friendly too. I initially asked some questions and they answered me effectively and cordially! I can't recommend them more!

Bought as a gift
Bought this for my husband as a birthday present. Works a treat and the option to add a nespresso pod adaptor is great too. For now, weโre enjoying loading it up with fresh grinds on boat, camping and beach trips!

Surprisingly good. Mobile excellence.
This gadget is meant for making coffee on the go. It is not meant to replace your permanently connected ECM/whatever. However, it makes coffee that is nearly or as good as it gets. I got it together with the Barista kit and the Nespresso adapter. Well, IMHO you don't strictly need either of them, but they are nice to have. For the beans I have tried so far, the optimum was to use slightly coarser grind than with desktop espresso machines. It needs to be tampered normally. After 8 pumping that is needed to build up the pressure, pump once per second to get coffee out. When it started coming, I was surprised of the good consistency and the crema content. In 25-30 seconds all water comes out (you feel that the pump has less and less grip and starts going empty). After a bit of practice I consistently managed to get a dry puck (need to pump a few times even after water went out). Even after this there is some very little hot water left in the holder (this is normal for this type of machine), so be careful when you disassemble it after making coffee. It is easy to get burned (as I have learned on my own), but it's also easy to avoid it :). With the Barista kit you get 2 big (16g) and one small (8g) portafilter, closing lids, a tamper, a bigger cup and water reservoir, so it's worth it in the sense that you can prepare a few shots of coffee and transport it ready to be made. Otherwise you can just use the Nanopresso repeatedly. The Nespresso adapter works, but I need more experience with it before reviewing. So far it seemed harder to press out. (Update after 3 weeks: I have sent back the Nespresso adapter, as I could not make it work consistently. Besides, espresso quality was much better with normal coffee.) Always check that you have closed _completely_ the device on both ends, and always clean it perfectly clean, in order to maintain a good seal (and pressure) over time. The filter part can be completely disassembled and cleaned, there is considerable thought put in designing the device. The design is good, the materials are of good quality. I don't know how long this thing will last (especially at the joints), but it seems to be sturdy enough so that with a little care it lasts long enough until you buy a new version :). Until then, be surprised by the rather excellent coffee the Nanopresso makes.
