I bought the identical honey locally. This honey is ok but if you expect honey that tastes/looks/flows like Germany’s Black Forest honey - ie, robust and strong, thick texture - you will be disappointed. ALSHIFA Black Forest honey is dark but somewhat runny and too sweet, almost too sweet for my liking, and definitely lacks the strong flavor I’m used to. The real deal is less sweet than regular flower honey and should have woody, slightly earthy flavors. It should be quite thick in texture, ZERO signs of crystallization, and a pleasant bitter-sweet finish. The color should be dark amber to almost black.
